N getting ready to start round one qualifying for the BIG rave here at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Due to the high car counts in all classes racing here today there is only one qualifier, then right into Eliminations.

Just got home from today`s DL/AP Memorial. I lost in the first round, so I missed out on the money, but that was about it. It was a picture perfect day, clear skies with a nice breeze. 108 cars, with the usual sharks, just the way it should have been, to remember those two guys. It was nice to see Rose and Colleen Peters and a pleasure to meet Jaime Lee (W.A.`s daughter). It is easy to see how this event could become a destination, with the LODRS next week and the National at Epping, following it. Barry and all those involved, deserve a big THANK YOU. Finally, NHRA could, and should, learn something from the people who helped put this together.

So many people thanked me for getting this race going. Maybe all the time I spent on here telling our fellow racers this was not just about the money. Will be a great tribute to both Dave and Alan tomorrow. Before first round they will play the National Anthem followed by a moment of silence. Then Dave's two Camaro's owned by John Grey and Gary Richards along with Alan's Endless Flight Camaro will take a missing man run down the strip. Hats off to Lebanon Valley, The ASRA and Dave Ley and crew from ECSSA. Everyone did a great job getting day one in. To my friend James Perone didn't I tell you enough times to join the ASRA. You would have won more than you money back. By the way where the heck are you parked? Thanks to all that came and raced. Barry

Thank you Barry.
My brother and i enjoyed both days of racing.
You put on a Great memorial race for 2 Great racers and the car count reflected that.
I think promoting is in your future.

Good race. We never had so many people thank us for coming to a race before. Had great time. Thanks to all who organized the event, and participated.
