I’d love to see that...a “take no prisoners” attitude like Bob Glidden. Large majority of the entries are great racers mind you but think Charlie makes everyone raise their game.

Know how to "pee on the cash register". You can run 10 Great Races OR 1 of these. Jake

Steve Commella is fast in his red car. I will be rooting for him. He is probably the best pure driver in the class right now. The Wescotts have not been active in the class with their cars in quite a while but still build engines for some of the top competitors. No doubt they could dust off their stuff and still run with the best of them if they wanted to.

No matter who wins the shootout is always a thrill show.

My votes for Hugh Hefner. Will he be in his driving suit or pajamas?

Don't count out Joe Teuton! With a break or two, his consistency could pull it off.

Re: 2019 Indy Hemi Shootout

In today's racing world it is hard to reward the racers for spending their time and $$ so we can enjoy a good heads up drag race. This year several people who are not only business people but also fans of the SS/AH class have stepped up to make the race a little bit more enjoyable for the drivers/owners. Rick Gorski /Firecore wires has put up $500.00 for a perfect light in eliminations. We were real close to this happening last year with a .003. Rick Allison/ A&A transmission has $500 spread out for several different ways to win. Greg Travis/Superformance Products has stepped up again this year, Charli Wheatcraft/Caged Insanity Sportswear and Extreme Sportswear, Dan Williams/Dan Williams Design, Fred Mary Fred Chapman, Rob Cunningham/Mancini Racing, Josh King, Monster Mopar Weekend, Gary Jacob/Jake's Garage and Glen Barnett/Barnett Performance. Thanks to all
