Just had ours torndown, they used what I had in the engine.

I agree with mike ,keep it the way it is ,,,ss has the unlimited valve train specs ,,,yeah stock isnt stock but there are limitations to the class,if you have performance common sense and some sweat equity, you can achieve a bunch and have satisfaction on your accomplishments

I did find 2 sets of Chebbie Sherman lifters if someone still is running hydraulics. I believe one set is roller and one flat.

How do you break in a new cam with used lifters?? I have a used set of Sherman,but have Shubeck currently in my Camaro,and always wondered if there was a good procedure.

You need to get rid of those used lifters. All they will do is ruin a new cam.
