Re: Shipping a Block
Dale,
I can ship this for you for $250 and it will take two days to ship. Block must be securely attached to a pallet and dropped at a FedEx Freight location. Your customer must pickup block at a FedEx Freight terminal in the Salt Lake City area. Let me know if you need more information to help you make a decision. To place an order, we need the following: •Complete billing address •Complete shipping address •Credit card Thank you, Chris Hill IHM Used Parts 882 Bee Mason Road Hickory, KY 42051 270-366-0863 chill@ihmusedparts.com ihmusedparts.com Your Guide for High Quality Heavy Equipment Parts |

Thanks. My Dart SHP comes Thursday. I'll be able to make a decision better when I see if I can reuse the box. |
Re: Shipping a Block
From experience, I highly recommend shipping anything that is over 100 pounds LTL truck freight vs UPS.
UPS has a tendency to lose heavy and dense packages. |

Re: Shipping a Block
I have had buyers refer me to Michelle to ship blocks. I secure the block to the pallet, build a 2 x 2 frame around block and cover with cardboard. Most of my shipped blocks are BBC. At least give her a call then check Fastenal.

Re: Shipping a Block
I also sold a detonation damaged Ford Racing 302 block and a set of toasted N 351 heads to a guy in Minnesota. He is handling shipping. Building a crate for that today..

Re: Shipping a Block
I had a Cleveland shipped to me in an engine shipping clamshell. It has a tie down built into it.
