This was a local car to me. It was owned and raced by the late Denny Kadinger from right here in Sioux Falls, S.D. It was purchased from and sponsored by Arnie Toftland's Schoon Motors in Luverne, Mn. Anybody that knows anything about Pontiac drags cars from that era knows who Arnie Toftland was. The picture was taken at Thunder Valley Dragway in Marion, S.D. Denny later owned the orange 'Jolly Ollie Orange' GTO, as well. -Al |

It would be a fun car though. I had a 68 Ventura with a 3.08 posi. The thing hauled butt, as a street car. It ran in the 14's , through the stock exhaust, with over 100,000 miles on it. |
Re: Here's a Pontiac
He dialed a 13.25. I can't make out what class he ran. Wonder if that 13.25 was under his index, or if he was bracket racing ?

Re: Here's a Pontiac
Happily remaining at the top of the Pontiac power making NHRA world. Although I have most of these cars archived, it's neat to see that some of you have enjoyed a 428 before. Either owning or watching.
