Been running my cars like that for over ten years. Nothing new.
I used to do it with dual point distributors.
Now, with my FAST XFI, is figured out how to do that using “PA” (Power Adder Mode), and do it by time & RPM, instead of flipping a switch. I don’t remember the last car where I used the same timing in each gear.
