There's a 5/16 set screw that plugs a hole going to the governor, make sure it's still there. It won't go to 3rd without the set screw. See Fig #12 for location: http://www.turboaction.com/27255ES%2...%206-17-09.pdf

Also make sure you didn't lose the 1/4" check ball from the valve body when you had it apart.

FIXED, dumb a## attack, the shift box was set on pulse instead of hold. Paul at Turbo Action to the rescue. Did some two lane blacktop testing tonite all is good. Tom
