The problem is that electric vehicles don't pay a highway fuel tax, they should be hit with this tax and leave the rest of us alone.

Exactly! Up here in the NW if you want to convert to propane (high octane fuel for an old high compression truck) you get hit with I think 2 different taxes. :mad:
