The one part I am not clear on is the 2 mm over. Is that 2 mm over the stated size or is that size with the 2 mm added.

AGREED!

Having been trailered by Mr. Gokey more than once, I can say that these combinations can go rounds.....HOWEVER.....they do not appear to be deadly consistent.....but with a large enough data base they can be predictable.

I would recommend Mr. Gokey as a source of knowledge.

Keep in mind, this type of a combo will leave you open to being chased.....possibly by a car taking the stripe by 40 MPH more than you.

That said, $15,000 for a built, proven car which probably includes a library of data....can't see how one could attempt to replicate that for that dollar amount.

Re: Turbochargers on Stock cars

I am in the process of acquiring a car that has been raced. My first question were can it be competitive. It’s fast and has run in AF/S. My fist thought is put a Holley System on it and have a lot more control. Using the stock ECMs seem to work but they are crude by today’s standards. I can’t help myself and usually over do it. They claim they use stock parts and stock cam. The car I’m looking at has the transmission built and a valve body and slightly looser converter. My entire focus is to make it consistent at .50 under.
