How about not standing up to the presidents of Mexico (Fox and Calderon). Neither one of these presidents stopped the rampant corruption of the local and federal police. Every time we went down there to race, we were usually ticketed for something that we did not do or had things stolen from us. When we make a report the police, its like talking to a wall.

A few years back on the way back from an NHRA race in Monterrey Mexico The Nickens boys got hustled out of $500.00 for going the wrong way to the border & ending up in a residential area. One cop stopped them & then called more to get their take before the Nickens off. Granted that wasn't near a bad as getting a rig stolen at gunpoint but this was the police..

If you read the post I sent from Race-dezert, you would have gotten the fact that we are not going back until the meexican government cleans up the area. Hopefully our dollars will do the speaking.
