Re: Grade points
I’ve always found this to be bull ****, if you want a grade point you should have to be on the Q sheet and pass fuel check, if you choose to leave after that then so be it. Give another racer a comp single then you both have benefited. But just buying grade points is BS..

Re: Grade points
Unless you accumulate more than 8 grade points, you're wasting your money and time. Gators closed out in 6 minutes with 8 grade points, so that's my point.

Re: Grade points
When I asked the Division 3 Director he said you MUST be on property and then can claim broke and receive a grade point. This was within the last few weeks.

I know one thing.I would not pay $180 entry fee if I had no intention of racing a race car at the event. That's just me. |
Re: Grade points
I know that if you make a pass and don't weight or do fuel check, you don't get a grade point. That is the way it was several years ago.

Re: Grade points
Well,I'm going to Earlville, Iowa this weekend for a National Open.
Supposed to get TWO grading points. That's a great deal. |
Re: Grade points
This past weekend's event at Rockingham was a double the LODRS race and the NO race. I was astonished at the amount of cars that left after the Lucas race, probably nearly half. I know the NO race is 1/8 mile blah blah and so on but with all the bitching about fuel prices and grade points why would you not run that race? I don't care for half tracking either but if I'm there I'm a racing.

Re: Grade points
I would be running this season if i had pistons, i would like to get points for indy next year (bucket list) i would not run first round and jeopardize someone else's race

Could they have done this and still got the grade point since they were on the property? |
