There hasn’t been very many good tech questions lately so I’ve enjoyed this one I don’t know the answer but really enjoy seeing everyone’s.

I was really curious regarding the cause of Lyn's problem so I sent a PM and asked if he determined the specific cause.

Lyn's reply: "Really don't know. I changed the whole ignition and a bunch of wiring, and the battery. Might have been the rotor. Got the engine off the stand now so cant put the rotor back in to try it."

Too bad since many hoped for a definitive answer.
