Re: How did a milidon 30401 pan become a stock replacement?
The Milodon 30401 is a copy of the 6 qt Chevy Corvette SBC oil pan. 5 in the pan and 1 in the filter.
Moroso has an equivalent to the pan under P/N 20180 and it is also NHRA approved. Both pans have been approved as a replacement to the OEM 5 qt oil pan. Should NHRA ban the use of oil accumulators too? |

Re: How did a milidon 30401 pan become a stock replacement?
After you guys figure out the oil pan you may want to look into how 396/375 Camaros (just one popular example we all know there’s many more :) )can run 9.50’s at 3600 pounds stock ! Lol I think the least of anyones worries are an oil pan at this point . This class is out of control lol ! No tech, no tear down , but get that fuel checked after a qualifying run lmao!!!!!!

Re: How did a milidon 30401 pan become a stock replacement?
Since the oil pans are allowed to be bigger two or three quarts, it would probably be ok to increase runner volume 25cc or valve size .040 on diameter, or make the head 10cc smaller.
