Re: Indy Weather

I have to agree. The chances of us going to Indy even if they don't cancel it are slim to none. I don't see any way they will be able to get this race in. With highs in the mid 40's both Saturday and Sunday I don't know how any of the cars will be able to get down the track. I can stay home and drink beer in the cold, I don't need to drag my racecar all the way to Indy to do that.

Indy and April has always been a crap shoot! You can get all the Seasons during those 3-4 days. Early to mid May is the earliest any LODRS D#3 race needs to be scheduled. D4 and Memphis was way too early this year and they pulled the plug on it by noon on the Wednesday before the race. Just my 2 cents, we won't be there.

Even if they reschedule for next weekend will the pits be usable? Loaded the golf cart yesterday and left ruts in the yard, I think the truck and trailer are a little heavier............

Just to let you know, the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series race this weekend at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis has been postponed one week. The weather is calling for snow showers this weekend. The entire schedule will be run next weekend, April 17-20. Check the NHRA North Central Division website www.nhradiv3.com for details.

Should be interesting to see what the west side pit area will be like this weekend. They might have to have a tractor or tow truck on standby. Hopefully it will dry out this week though!

We are loading up tonight and should be ready to go.

Except I still have to get my scoop from Chebby. :)

Just a thought on raising $$ for Justin. I can get some decent pics of race cars & print them in the RV, do you guys think anyone would donate to Justin's fund for a pic? My thought was $10 for an 8x10.
