Heard you're conducting a test session at a ... hospital?
Get well soon, and for ONCE, take some time for YOU. You're always doing so much for everyone else, I know it's a foreign concept to you, but take care of YOURSELF! We'll all muddle through in the meantime (it'll probably be comical, bordering on hysterical at times). When the snafu's arise, we'll use the "W.W.D.D." principle ("What Would Dave Do"?)
Health comes FIRST, Dude! Take some time off, and that's an ORDER!!! (Gloria, use restraints on him if necessary). When you're ready and able, we'll ALL be there to welcome back the GRAND POO-BAH and QUEEN MUM of everything Stock and Super Stock on the planet.
You're in our thoughts, as always, and in our prayers. If you need ANYTHING, just say the word. I'll be at your doorstep in a heartbeat. (Now THAT should scare you!)

Dave, time to take it easy and let the doctors fix you up. You help everyone so much now let the doctors help you. Want to see the happy healthy Dave at the races. Remember you can't watch stock and SS from an RV bed so take the time that is needed to get well. Gloria give us a call if you need anything and keep us posted on how he is doing. I spoke to Dave yesterday and after all the tests they found the reason for the infection. They are going to have to keep him on antibiotics for 6 weeks to get rid of the infection and then he is going to have to go back into the hospital for another surgery. In normal Dave Ley fashion he was more concerned about what was happening in the racing world and what he missed at the track on Sunday. He of course was upset that we posted this and that everyone was offering their good wishes and I told him tough he deserves it. Keep them coming everyone, He, Gloria and Tammy do appreciate it.

I spoke to Dave last night and he wanted me to let everyone know that hi is getting out of the hospital on Friday and he plans on going to Lebanon Valley next weekend. He said the doctor told him that there was no reason why he shouldn't be able to go. When he get home on Friday he will give everyone an update on what is going on. Once again he thanks everyone for there support.
