Re: Jim Harrington

Thank You everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. Jim was very sick over the past month. After losing Kenny Martin he took it really hard and so did his liver. I drove him up to NJ and he spent the past week in the hospital. This was a wake up call! He can never and will never drink again! He is in good spirits and can't wait to get back out. We will be spending the next few months up here so the doctors can monitor his progress. Once again we both thank you ( our racing family)!

So relieved to hear that Jim is doing better. Continued best wishes for a speedy recovery.

There are a million Jim Harrington stories out there and pretty much all of them are damn funny. Hopefully we'll have many more to share in the coming years.

The 12 bolt rear that was originally in Mike's car went into my '69 Camaro when I built it. He worked with a very good friend of mine and Jimmy also worked at the same place. Mike installed a Dana and the car was running C/SM at that time. The Pink color was on there when Mike owned it and I am not sure why he painted it that color. It was a good looking car!

Jimmy really won a ton of races and $$$$ in that car.......He was just about unbeatable for a while in it.......but then he was just about unbeatable in anything back then!!!

I was surprised to read about Jim's hospital stay on another site, but came right here to find out the info. Thank you to Tracey and everyone for keeping this post updated. Jim will be kept in many peoples thoughts and prayers, not to mention the thoughts and prayers for Tracey as having a man not feeling well is probably worse than a .001 red light in the final round :^p
May God surround you with the healing He can give as the Great Physician and bring you both the strength and comfort needed each and every day. God Bless you. Amen
See you in the lanes and around the starting line!!
