Well, it is a beautiful morning here in Belle Rose. Great day for racing. They have already run a round of stock and super stock. I just saw that live timing is available, so you may know all of this before I do. Teuton slowed down a bit today.

Teuton slowed his down a bit this morning. He went a 11.22 @ 85 this morning. Other times: Davis 10.88, 120. Rousso 10.18,130 in A/SA. Ronnie West 10.09, 109 in A/sa. Szupka 11.44,115 in J/SA. Schaeter 11.62, 111 in I/S. Pizzaloto 10.26, 128 in B/SA.

They have already called stock back, so more later.

Larry, After seeing the new Mopar stuff fly so well down the track would ou consider buying one? I have no idea what the price is...$30,000 with all the parts???? Then the Larry overhaul? Trilions? jk...Low Budget racing rules! Well any racing for that matter....Super Sorry to hear about the engine....I wish I had the means to get you another engine just to race....=(

Yes..I agree...that's too far to drive and work so damn hard not to race....I hope anybody out there with their internet ears on gives Larry Hill a car to race asap...He works harder than anybody I know on a low budget to make it happen...This fact has me just shaking my head and thinking hard on who can help him race down there....I will say a silient prayer for you Larry and family that anybody and everybody comes up with anything to make your trip down there a worth while trip....You are appreciated by everyone and to come that far just to blow your engine is upsetting to me.....I'm in southern Cal and I feel the pain....anybody have any ideaks on how we can make Larry a first round show? Sorry if I'm over dramatic....

Well, we have run the first round of class. Jeff held Verne Buchanan off to win the first round of H/SA. DRC will probably post round by round shortly. Pendarvis redlighted against Russo first round of A/SA.

Jimmy Hidalgo was nice enough to offer Larry a car to run down here, but he declined. We are just going to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Other first round winners: Kevin Helms beat Popora in a hole shot. Others: Bennett, Guilimino, Marshall, Pizzalato,Casey, Szupka, Buckner, Whalen, Hidalgo, Cooter.

I got some pics of Jeff's challenger that I will post after dinner. He is really happy about his class win. I pick him for the CIC race tomorrow.

Well, it was not a good weekend for racers for Hickory, KY. Jerry Bennett lost an engine today, too. Also Jim Hale lost one. Latino in Hollingsworth's car broke a crank. They had it loaded up and headed back to the shop to put another bullet in.

Larry had finally retrieved his cell phone from the car, so if you were one of the 12 calls he missed, he will call you soon.

Joe Demaris: Bruce Kerber said to tell you he does not have any cell phone service here.

We have been down to the bar watching from there. This is a great place to race at!!

It was probably .04-.05 slower Q1 in Gainesville vs. Q1 at No Problem. Q2 and the remainder of class was probably .03-.04 slower than that. Also, had a headwind the majority of the day.

Art, yes the mustang is supercharged.
Steve, Chevy's are ok. We have a Chevy truck that runs Q/SA.

I guess you see where I posted about the schedule change. Pat came by and said with the weather coming in, he would rather get most of the race run and not have to hold a lot of people over if the weather stays around.

Our plan is to leave in the morning before we can't get out since we are in the grass. I will put more on in the morning as I hear anything.

Thanks Jimmy. I couldn't believe how much quicker some ran. I'm sure they were bowed up for Class, but it still looked a bunch faster than G-ville. Good luck.

The last hp hit after he was #1 at Indy again moved from a natural R/SA to Q/SA. We can still run R if we want, but it's around 3700 lbs.

Joey Santangelo is running "Hatari" there and he went over the runs and the weather with me yesterday. A better barometer at No Problem but they didn't have a tail wind like Gville did (they actually had some head wind at times). Overall, (like 'Cooter' said) it was close but slightly faster in Gville.

Bad weather headed your way for sure, cold front moving thru East TX today with heavy rain and possible snow. Sunday could be a bad day in the bayou with temps dropping into the 30s You do not want to be their Monday.

Got a call from there today, they are going to see how much of the race they can get in today.
SS/AH was won by Daniels cause of weather they did the ET deal again, no big money posted anyhow Fiat, i meant Mopar, lol isn't paying at this event.
