I'll be running the small ORP merchandise trailer on the pro side of the track behind the grandstands. Maingate won't allow me to openly display or sell them, but people could always ask if I have them. (wink wink) I would be happy to have some on hand. I will also be getting there with my RV on August 28, and will be doing set-up in Top Eliminator Club. This would give racers plenty of time to find me get them on their cars if they want. If I can help in any way feel free to PM me.

on september 11th we are holding a big memorial race for 9/11 and for our local/national racing guys that weve lost thru the years.

these decals are going to be very fitting.

We printed them today using the high quality artwork we received from Michael. He did a great job.
We will cut them tomorrow and have them ready to ship. Only thing, who is going to distribute them?

They could be shipped to David and someone in each division who will attend the remaining races can be issued X amount.They can collect the contributions and return the $$ and any remaining decals by a certain date.To avoid any problems the decals
should have a standard contribution (I think someone mentioned $20).Whoever has the decals will have David's address.Anyone wishing to contribute above and beyond can forward it separately.

People wishing to take decals to other areas, please contact me with name and address, and I will get you what you consider the right amount to distribute.

We have decided that the decals will sell for $5.00 each, and the entire proceeds going to the Christopher Wertman Memorial Fund to benefit his three children.

I would like to purchase at least a couple of the decals in Charlotte. Do you know if anyone will have them there? Please send me who will so I can look them up on Thursday or Friday. Would be nice if Bill Howell would have some, as I know how to find him.

Hello there..

I am back from Indy, and a good number of Class Racers stopped by picked up decals, all being extremenly generous in the donations..

I also got to meet Bill Howell, who most graciously printed them at no cost. My public thanks to Michael Beard for picking up the ball, and designing a great decal, and for Bill Howell for printing them.

But now I will start getting decals out to folks who have expressed teh desire to help get them distributed.

Thanks to those who have already offered, and if anyone else would like to take some to races elsewhere, just let me know.

And all you say is true. If it wasn't for my unwavering faith in God, and the knowledge that his will is a perfect will, this would not even be a little bit bearable. And it still isn't easy, but having lost loved ones, you know what I mean.

Hey, BTW, your son stopped by at Indy and offered his condolences. I really enjoyed meeting him, a very nice young man, and a darned good racer too. I was rooting for him. And Chris really enjoyed meeting you in Vegas too. Sorry I missed you there. And your kind thoughts are much appreciated.

I don't know where I will be parked but look for the Gadsden (yellow "don't tread on me" "tea party" flag) and I will be glad to give you one. Thanks for posting that video link. It has been a very long time since I saw it, and it was really good to see it again, and remember how much work the guys from DIY AutoTune put into it. They were great on all accounts, and if we had followed their advice and tested at local tracks before hitting the gig time, we would have been a lot better off. Great guys and their efforts and friendship will never be forgotten.

We had a great deal of help all along the way, and this week in Las Vegas, I continue to meet some of them I knew, and some I didn't know before but they all knew Chris, either in person, on the phone, or just here on classracer. He was a raging fire that burned too brightly and for too short a time. Thanks for remembering him.

That was a great video David,,,,,first time I've seen it. Though it was a lot of hard work, it looks like there was some fun along the way also.
