Super Stock is just now starting their first time run. The schedule for tomorrow is going to be similar to today. Stock and Super Stock will make their third qualifying pass and run their first round late tomorrow evening being the last four out of seven classes out. The track is supposed to be secure at 9PM tomorrow night.

So if they dont put these cars in there own class next year sounds like they get to put there cars on a nice Diet to make the Max Weight rule Geee that should help What a frign joke !!!!!! Nothing against Lynch or Drooze the situation at whole is my thoughts.....

Like I said before - add 20 HP the car would run B/SA at the same weight and be a very fast car "A" car

Keith didn't make the rules - I think he doesn't care right now, because he knows there is going to be new classes next year

Not sure where the V10 will end up - I know a lot of people are hoping for SS only but don't hold your breath - MOPAR did not equip it with a 9" tire and 2spd - without some idea of where it might end up - even at 425 it will be an "A" car

I am sure the current Drag Pak guys will be glad to have some of the focus on a different combination for a change

I don't think there will be any new classes next year. If there were I think they would have already added them in the 2011 rule changes released last month.

Disagree on that, the earlier rule admendments are in "most" cases admistrative....they can change/add classes at the drop of a hat, just like somebody getting some horsepower on Tuesday and racers either changing a decal or adding some weight for the following event (don't nikpik please, realize there can be more to it than that). I think there are many more rule/class changes coming. Toby I sure do appreciate all the great pictures and the time it takes to run around taking and posting them, you need to keep lobbying for your year end bonus.

Thanks for the great photos Toby, but I'm wondering if you can get a shot of the '95 Mustang that Steve Teeter is driving? That's Larry Dowty's car, and he told me he was going to try and find you to post a pic of it on here for me to see it...thanks and have fun this evening all...I'm bummed because this is the first time in these past four seasons that I've missed this race.... :(

They just called Super Gas to the lanes to run their first round. They were bumped earlier today so Top Alcohol could run. Super Stock will run their last qualifying pass after Super Gas.

Looks like it's going to be another late night.

Yes, I can confirm that. I even have it on video.

As the Droozemobile crossed the finish line, instead of pulling the parachute release, Keith accidentally pulled the hood release.

The hood went up about 18 feet in the air, tiurned several flips in midair, and came down in at least two pieces.

Don't know what we will do as we left all of our spare hoods in Ohio.

But when the call comes for our third and final qualifing run, we may have to borrrow a hood from one of our Drag Pak compadres.. or not....

Stay tuned for the next episode of the Hood-Less Challenger..

Started raining again and the wind kicked up.They sent the remaining stockers back and pulled the plug for tonight.Reinhart said the rotation remains as scheduled starting with S/St.

Thanks, Ed! I was just going to post this. Most of Stock got to make a run. I think the wind was blowing pretty good when I ran. I was one of the last Stockers to make a pass.

Can't believe they won't put Lambeck on the bottom of the ladder. He was in the water box.

He did not get a run and sat 14 hours today.

Alan said they they should have come up early in the session instead of waiting until the end.

Seems a bit harsh to a good NHRA customer
