Although we hadn't seen S.E. for many years, he remained a friend in our hearts. Anyone who knew S.E. had to respect his integrity and character. He was a true follower of Christ.

Our prayers go out to S.E. and his family at this time of great sorrow. The drag race community has lost a devoted racer who loved the sport for many years. The arrangements for S.E. are going to be by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR. The information will be posted on their website later today, www.caruth-hale.com. Visitation will be Monday, January 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral will be at 1:00 Tuesday, January 18th, also at the funeral home.

I am really sorry to hear this. S.E. sold me his Probe back in 2003, the car I currently campaign. This is a tremendous loss. My condolences to the family. May you rest in peace S.E.

This is truly sad news. First Ronnie West, now S.E. I met S.E two years ago when he approached me at No Problem. He introduced himself and we shook hands and said, "So you're the one who punishes this little 302". That's really a shame. I only met him once, also at NPR, and I thought if I could be as nice a gentleman as he was, I would be getting something done ! Nice nice man.
