Same here and I am using a Mac with Firefox. This is frustrating because Toby does a bang up job on these pics/videos and I cannot see them other than the thumbnails on the thread.

I think this is Toby's message that I just need to be at the track by teasing me. :D

I use Firefox. After you download you are not done, you must Open it and Install it.

and I have been using FireFox as my default web browser forever...

Sorry I'm a dumb *** with all of this...

On my mac when I download this CCP 2010-10-10.exe a window comes up and says

Plain Text file... What should FireFox do with this file?

Open with Text Edit (default)

Where should I go with this to open.


BTW - I tried to open with QTime and a new window came back that says this file is not a movie file (so that didn't work either?)

Larry and Don,

Since you are using a Mac there is no need to download and install the codec pack.

You should have the Quicktime movie player on your system. Open that up, then open the avi file with Quicktime. Quicktime has supported the H264 codec for a long time.

Thats my point....The word is "LEGITIMATE" .Pond has been working on this combo for many years and has it dialed in yet the blown PU-Tangs fall out and run rampet over the hard working guys. Can not wait to see how the new V-10 DP's run In AA/SA. It should be quite a circus this year.

Super Stock got two qualifying runs. Ladder is now up on DRC. I will be posting the second round of SS later. Part 2 of Q1 should be up in about 45 minutes.

Yes. It's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon and pretty much all day on Saturday. Sunday looks good now with a 0% chance of rain. Most likely they will finish it on Monday.

I have a Mac and have fussed around with Quicktime for a couple of days trying to get your videos to play. The solution I found that DOES work is "MPlayer OSX Extended" for the Mac. 22MB download, 1 minute install, and it plays your videos just great.

Great video Toby - it plays as an .avi file on Windows Media Player just fine. Not too high tech, but that's me!

They called Stock to the lanes about an hour ago. They ran a few pairs then it started sprinkling. The rain stopped and they ran a few laps with the track drier. They ran a few more pairs and it started sprinkling again. Were on hold again. It hasn't rained very hard yet.

I rained really hard overnight. It's slowing down now, but it's still sprinkling. I doubt there will be any passes made down the track today, but you never know.

I uploaded all the video files to Hotfile. You may have to enter a captcha code and you may have to wait 30 minutes in between downloads, but I'm pretty sure there are no viruses on the site as I don't think they sell ad space. Let me know if there are any problems.
