Looks like he is doing a great job. Not everybody could take the same money and be that fast. Everybody thinks they could, of course. There are a lot of slow guys with money.

i was told at a national open you could not trigger a review but you could get the automatic hit for 1.2 under.

Once the instant hit is triggered. It resets the clock, so the previous runs don't count anymore towards the ahfs.

Re: HP on Monday?

Perhaps it will be easier for everyone to understand when you read it this way.........there are only 2 review periods, not a different review for each race! Yes, you can hit the review trigger (1 second under) more than once at a single race, since ALL elimination runs count. ONLY your quickest qualifying run (Q data) counts.

So if you do go 1 second under only once at a race, it still counts towards that combination for the rest of the review period! If you, or nobody else with your combo, hits the 1 second under trigger for the rest of the review period, then no review! If someone hits the trigger at Gainesville, then somebody else with that same combo does it at the last race, where ever that may be, before the 1st review period ends, then it's review time! It doesn't reset for every combo after every race!!!

For example: A SS racer running SS/GT went 1.something under at a LODRS race this year. Then the same racer went 1.something under at the Gators. He has already triggered a review for his combo. His combo did not get reset after the LODRS races. The data is cumulative for the entire review period!

Correct me if I'm wrong please! Nitro, Travis, or anybody else out there who KNOWS. I will e mail my committee rep for verification, but I'm 99.9% sure I'm right.

Bryan. You are correct. It gets reset after every 6 months I guess its January and June. If you went 1 to 1.199 second under last year that info is no longer valid. But neither are the slower runs. From .35 under and better.
I know once the auto hit ( HP on Tuesday) is hit it restarts the clock and any prior info doesn't count.

I have asked this before and never really got a good answer. Can you go 1.19 under at Opens and be safe from the trigger?

Re: HP on Monday?

Bryan,

Yes, you are correct. I took your post to mean that you couldn't get two flags at the same race. Skillman's and Fezell's combo each have two flags and will be reviewed and the end of the review period provided the combo doesn't get an instant hit before then.

According to Nitro Joe you can get more than one flag in qualifying. He said he asked Pat & Bruce about it at the Gators and they said he was correct. I'm guessing they misunderstood his question or he asked the wrong question. Either that or the email Pat sent Jim Mantle is not true.

Mike,

Yes, you can go 1.19 under at national opens and not get a flag. Only the instant hit is in effect there. Seems like if you want to set a record an open would be the best place to do it.

First of all who can keep numbers like Nitro???? Next I guess we will have to wait until the review period is up!!!!So all the talking we do is just a mute point.

Looks like Mr. Skillman gets HP on Monday in his stocker, too.

Isn`t there a stipulation that if the air is extremely good, they take that into consideration too? They are showing below sea level conditions.

A few of us have been trying to get something like this in place for years. But the answer is NO.
