Well, it rained again last night, so they are sucking and sweeping the track this morning. We are already running behind since Super Street was supposed to begin at 8 and they haven't been called yet. High today is 64 with a chance of thunderstorms.

The days events have not started as of yet... It's sticky this morning.

They just called stock to the lanes...

The weather is just barely bad enough for a stoppage here...

Well, we have stopped for rain again. Super Stock is in staging, but it is misting again. The new schedule still has us running 1st round today, but if we are down much more, I don't know if it will happen.

Well stock and super gas still run today, but everyone else is done until tomorrow. They are racing Top Sportsman now, so we should be running within the hour.

Well we got beat by Bo Butner in a double breakout. Our car decided to pick up .07. We broke out 6 and Bo 2. Lots of breakouts that round. Air got better + a little tail wind.

More later. I think we are going to drink now!

Well after a nice evening with friends, we came in and crashed last night. All in all it was another fun weekend with friends. Lots of good food, drinks, and racing! That's what it's all about!

We got up and left the track this morning before everyone got up and got their cars out of their trailers. We didn't have any trouble pulling out of the mud. It should be interesting back there in a month for the National event with all the ruts in the grass from this weekend. I think we are going back then.

Good luck to all who are left in the race! We will be back "Live" later on this week from the Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green. I have to go home and work a little, do laundry, go grocery shopping and leave again on Tuesday!

Bob I spent all day Saturday on the dyno with the CJ and picked up 18 more hp. Trying to getting ready for INDY and I hate Chicago traffic.

Charley, it already went 123 MPH in I/S weight. Does that mean it will go 125 MPH at that weight?

Only Jim Woods and myself know how much weight I was carrying at Martin MI. Should run close to 130 mph in K/S

Wish we could have stayed longer but that how it goes...

Anyone know what was going on with the Malibu in second round of stock? I'm referring to the one that died in the water box, got it started and almost ran over his helper. The starter had already given his opponet a single but the Malibu driver took off and had his hood fly open about 100 feet down track.

I did speak with him after the run he siad he was just trying to get up there and get staged he thought his dad had the hood shut and got him out of the way. No body was up there waiving him not to roll up there. Then when he was trying to hurry and get up to the beams, then the starter gave him the red bulb. He said to me well i might as well drive it down the track now that im up here, he hit the gas a little bit and the hood wasnt latched down like he thought, looking at the car just ,a new hood will fix the problem. Like he said the one thing on his mind was just try and get up there and make the run. Cause of problem short in battery cable wouldnt keep car running he said

I wondered happened, I saw the red light for his lane and the yellow Chevy ll was already staged. I guess to much excitement going on. Too bad it happened, just glad no one got hurt!
