And I can tell you that Verizon is absolutely no better at Norwalk.

My hot spot is so slow that while on my computer, getting an email takes a few minutes, and I mean jugs one email.... not so good.

And my phone often has NO BARS.... Strangely enough that condition allows me to receive calls and hear the other person, but nothing I do, including shouting into the stupid phone makes any difference.

But that is OK, because after hearing the person on the other end say hello about 10 times, the call drops anyways.

I finally did find a place in the doorway of the trailer, where my phone actually works just fine. Anywhere else is touch and go.

Maybe today it was due to the weather conditions..But yesterday was a bit touchy too.

If we get really lucky and the weather stays clear tomorrow, maybe we can all return from the twilight zone, do do do do do do doo, (that was either the twilight zone theme music, or theme from jeopardy, not sure which...) and have cell phones that work.

And thanks also to all of the fine folks, who chose to use our pit area, and Jim Marshall's as a cut through on their carts carts today during the rain. Be sure to stop by tomorrow so we can play together in the mud pools you created for us by the road, you dip wigits....

Racing will start with Stock eliminator at 8:00 am. There will be two qualifying rounds for the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series categories, the Get Screened America Pro Mod Series will get two qualifying attempts, as will the Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car with Competition Eliminator getting one more qualifying session.

Well, evidently no one is up this morning and using their phones, so we have a little service. We won 1st round yesterday, then waited all day for round 2, then got cancelled out around 6. So then it was time to start drinking and go up and watch super stock.

All in all it has been a fun, but boring race at times. All day Friday, it rained, so Janice Fuller and I played rummy for a while. Seems like all we have done is eat and drink.

Toby, the ice cream is great! We had moosetracks yesterday and chocolate!

It looks ok for weather today. It is overcast but not raining.

We thought we would run this morning, but we heard that Bader has a concert here this morning and wouldn't allow anything running until 10. So we run this afternoon after 2 rounds of pros. Hey, we are going to get to hear the National Anthem and we are only in the 2nd round~

Oh, for a note: Ray Skillman ran 8.79, 150 mph on DOT tires.

We are parked right across from the Skillman compound and have met all of them. Very nice people!

Well it has been a long day, but we are finally on the road and have some internet connection. It was a beautiful day all day at Norwalk. The air ran 2300-2400' most of the afternoon. We had lots of fun running the Cobra Jets and beating them. Larry was really driving well until he did his old man trick and had a .64 light and the car decided to go faster all of a sudden. But a .64 light will win lots of times to where a red light won't. I heard lots of people say they were having problems with those top blue lights, but Larry said they really didn't bother him. There seemed to be an unusual amount of red-lights in time trials and after racing actually began. I still have some pics to post and will try to get them on later tonight or tomorrow.
