Being able to see some of the cars is always better than just looking at the results of qualifying and eliminations. :confused::confused:Hey Toby, sorry to hear about your decision to stop the videos after this year is over. As I said, when we talked at the divisional race in Seattle, your videos are awesome and add A LOT to each race. I do understand your decision though, as it must take a lot of time to do, and takes away from your time to visit with friends at each event. By the way, the article about Chris is great. ....Just completed rd 1 of SS class eliminations.
.... plenty of unloading wheelstands with the weather change for today.

61 degrees, 50 hum, 29.71 baro (small headwind)

SS/AA - Roy Hill ran Grant Lewis (Hill's team car). Grant went RED and gave Roy the class win. But Grant runs 8.43 (-1.27) 162mph, and Roy goes 8.48 (-1.22) 142mph lifting. That's automatic hp on monday.

4.5% hit makes the 2010 Mustang rated 577 now (25 hp hit up from 552). It already was a SS/AA-only car after Indy, so it'll carry an extra 150 pounds now.

Just got home to Columbia after spending two days watching some great sportsman racing. Met somemore great people in the pits and promise to send some pictures to them. Want to especially thank Larry Stott for his hospitality yesterday when it was hot, and today when it was a little cool. Will be sending pictures of him and Mike Volkman soon to Emily.
If there are some who would like to have pictures, please send me a private message with your email or just post it here. If I have them you are welcome to them. I do it as a hobby and enjoy the racing ya'll provide for the fans.
Almost forgot, met Toby on Thursday, hopefully he will reconsider on not doing anymore video. Great shots, but it does take a lot of time. Thanks Toby.

Even with the running of Super Stock class it seems like this race could be a three day event instead of four saving everyone time and money.

Saturday morning update....

It's misting of and on.... but nothing's wet!
S/ST, stock, and super gas all have been called to the lanes.
We are just waiting it out.
10:12am est (we had a 930am scheduled start).

We're running again. Rd 2 of S/STreet, stock, and S/G is in the books.
SS has been cancelled until later today.

Pro Bikes and ProStock has been called to the lanes.

Stock rd 2 notes.....

There were two heads up runs in this rd.....

C/SA...Jeff Taylor outran Anthony Bertozzi to the 1000ft mark. Bertozzi lifted first (Taylor was ahead), and Taylor followed suit (thus saving the hp rating).

B/SA.. Matt Rover easily outran a red-lighting Greg Rowe.

also... Brian Rowe beat his Dad (Bud Rowe) on a double breakout run.

A very wierd round..... I can tell you what Volkman did (he went on wrong bulb.... uses blinder). It was not dark yet, but it was very overcast and very hard to see - no spotlites on tree),... I'm sure the others fell in the same trap.
