Good to see Gary Moore still out there but sad to see he switched from a hemi. Looks like a good combination BUT Gotta love those AH cars...

I believe he is claiming a 1962 383 dual four.?.?

I don't miss the Hemi as much as I do the STICK in his car...:(

Thanks for the pics. It's great to see pics of some Div. 4 cars. Have you taken a pic of Hildago Sr.s G/SA? If so I didn't notice it. Also it would be great to see a pic of J. Allen Sherman's C/SA. I see where there's a '69 Camaro for sale for all those posting on here that they wanted to purchase one. I hope the lifer didn't do a lot of damage and that you will be back racing soon.

Yeah,,me too. The pictures looked great a couple days ago, but now it says something about bandwidth. Clicking on it doesn't help. Hopefully they'll come back. there were some really nice shots on there. Thanks anyway.

Ok I had to pay photobucket for some more bandwith. I guess I exceded my monthly allotment.LOL

Here are some more pics. I tried my best this weekend. Sorry about not to many reports on what everyone else was doing. After hurting my engine I didn't feel like doing much. I'm the rare guy that runs a SSer on a budget so I maybe down for awhile with this.

One of the cars that you took a picture of has been around for a long time. The black 68 Chevelle station wagon run by the Doughty Bros. was runner up at the 1975 Sportsnationals with a 6 cylinder. It was run by Eugene Chaisson. Then in 1977 it won the Cajunnationals as a V8 car with Sammy Pizzolato driving. Also won 1983 Cajun nationals with Daniel Doughty driving. The Doughtys have run it for the longest with great success. Great older car with history. Great job on the pictures Thanks.

Ed's Chevy II has been around since the mid-70s too. It was originally owned by Troy Humphrey, Pro Stock racer Ronnie Humphrey’s dad.

DRC says race is postponed till Oct 15th....too bad for those who normally attend Reynolds...will certainly miss Jeff Teuton (and his fellow Cajuns) but really big hit for Crutchfield and others with several Divisionals left to claim.

It also won Pomona in 1975 with Eugene driving it.

I would also bet that it has more trips down the quarter then any other class car. It has never had a year off and when not at a points or Nats , it is racing most weekends bracket racing since.

Late word from Craig Hutchinson - The rescheduled eliminations have been changed to October 22 to get away from all the conflicts.

Well other than breaking an engine I had fun. I got to hang out with my friend Ashton Hudson. Funny how a Ford and Chevy guy can be friends. Lol I got to talk to several other racers that I consider friends as well Ed Wright,Gary Moore,Ken Howell, JB CLegg and Mike and Janie Braswell. Mike is the most generous guy I know. I want to say thanks to Mike for all the help he has given me. I enjoy going to the races with my son and seeing friends we don't get to see to often. We hope to repair our broken engine over the winter and try again next year. Hope you enjoy the pics. I thought I got everyone but by the s/ss qual sheets I didn't. Sorry about that. Ed

Well it was about time D4 got some coverage, "With the Live At The Races" which everyone enjoys no matter what part of the country gets the coverage. I know how much effort it takes to make this happen and all racers enjoy seeing the pictures and videos. I know all the D4 S/SS racers enjoyed your pictures. Ed, enjoyed spending some time with you and your son and hope the motor damage doesn't keep you down for to long.

Thanks Cody! That was the first time it didn't just blow the tires off since Bowling Green. Had my tail kicked by a stinking tire gauge. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. :-(
Front end was a tad loose, ya think?

Had a senior moment next pass and forgot to put it back in low gear after the burn out and left in 3rd gear.

Found that killed the forward clutch pack when I warmed it up Sunday morning. No 2nd gear. Good ol' J.B. Clegg got a bye first round due to my stupidity. Not sure why they still let out alone. LOL

Came home, a friend put clutches in it and we are leaving for Ennis early tomorrow.
