Scott, may have missed something but is there only 1 race? If we come down from Illinois I would like to have more than one chance, not talking buybacks but other races, possibly a gamblers race or 2?

Yeah, I can only have one race this time because of road course on Sunday. But the track is having a $40.00 Entry for $1000.00 to win in NO BOX. T-brake and Two-Step ok on Friday. This is there TOP 8 in pionts shootout and Final big Event at track.

You got a deal I'm always in for a Adult beverage, Sorry no new posts, alot of people at SEMA and then PRI but getting alot of calls and confermations on cars. Car count looks great. The Track will be hooked up to 1320go.com in a couple days, just finished working it out.

I'm going to the dyno with a different cam and headers Friday. If it looks good I would like to come down. (12 hrs each way) would they mind us running the bracket race the night before? Would we have to leave and come back, or stay parked?

We'd be glad to have you and Nitro come down!!! And yes sir early parking is fine find your spot and hang out all week. Some folks are coming down monday then traveling to Thanksgiving spots then back to race " NO PROBLEM". Nitro hitch a ride with Schaechter he's bringing his chevy II down.

Just a quick update everything at the present time is still a GO. Just been very busy at work, got the Flyer made, Radio Advertisment for Spectators ( remember those, guys) in progress and manufacturers are back from SEMA. So more posts shortly but a question came up as to who could run this race. ANY IHRA or NHRA STOCK OR SUPERSTOCKER is allowed and ENCOURAGED to come race with us.
All I ask is remember our time table is very small and I WILL NEED Everyones help and support to get this race IN and Crown our Champion. We have over 50 cars counted at present coming for the event. And it shoud be A LOT OF FUN!!!!!!

We will have at least seven from our Stable, maybe eight if I can get a customers Engine done in time. 2 Old Hemis, 2 New Hemis, a V-10, the Achieva, and Scotts Chevelle. Still have a pretty good Stick Camaro (Neg......)and GT Cuda ready. This will be a lot of fun for a real payday for a lucky few. See ya there!

I noticed that the flyer stated that the payout was based on 64 cars. Please don’t get me wrong as I wish this race complete success and plan on being there, but what happens when we only get 56 cars? I assume that this is a completely separate issue from the Track’s perspective, because I see that they will be collecting $30-50 a car on the side. And they should. What I want to know is, will it affect the payout? Excuse me if this seems rude, but right now it seems like a great deal. Going the same number of rounds for a substantial amount less because cars didn’t show doesn’t.
Thanks again for putting on the race and offering such a great payout structure. We need a lot more of these deals, but I think some people need some motivation to go when typically Combo races at No Problem don’t draw 64 cars. I’d like to think that was because they were either hot as the devil’s a-hole, or we had a hurricane in the gulf.

Hagen, How many cars are you bringing? I know you had owned three at one time and we could use them all, I based payout on 64 cars because that is a usable number. I am trying to Guarantee payout of $10,000.00 to Winner without all the corporate backing I wanted due to end of year budgets. So it will behoove you to bring as many cars as poss. We need 59 cars to pull this off, BUT if everyone who has 4 brings 2 and everyone with 2 brings 1 you do the math. I say take a chance bring all your cars and have fun!! and encourage everyone else to do the same and maybe second rd could get paid! P.S. FLYER states $20.00 per car and driver at the gate $10.00 per crew or spectator. That's all they asked for and maybe we could buy a beer or burger while there...And for the record more positive than negative phone calls and car count should be around 50 now counting 22 cars close to and around track with ALL the Southland crew coming. Looking forward to seeing every one there and maybe we do this again! Thanks

I will be there. This is the best deal all year even if the car count is not 64 there still will be a good payout based on the amount of entries. Remember if the payout ends up with 5K for the winner that is still better than a divisional. It should be fun!

Were only Bringing 1 car. Sorry, the others arnt' currently in any condition to go down the track. I really hope we get the cars, and if you count 50, then we are pretty close. I don't think anyone is asking for you to come out of pocket to make the payout, just wanna know that we arn't paying the same entry as a National event for less than we can take home at a Div. race. This Race should attract at least the 64 you need, and hopefully this situation never comes up.

Weather looks Great for Sat. so far, Still looks like apprx 50 cars. So a couple things everyone should know. (1) Pay gate fee of $20.00 per racecar and driver and/or $10.00 for every crew or spectator you bring AT GATE. (2) Come to my trailer for TECH CARD and PAY ENTRY $300.00 (3) Fill out tech card at my trailer (4) I will be against the fence facing track apprx. @1/8 mile before the BATHROOMS W/1968 White and Black Chevelle F/SA (5) Remember how YOU pay is how YOU get PAID. NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS!!! CASH preferred, Any CHECKS must be made out to CASH (6) You MUST have a SOUTHLAND SPEED and NITROPLATE Decal on car to race. Available at MY TRAILER. DUE TO FORECAST No Problem has made Sunday a rain day for us. So we can run our race on SUNDAY if it rains out SATURDAY!! I'll post more after meeting tonight...ALSO their Bracket race on Friday "NO BOX" starts at 12AM FRIDAY not Friday night.

Yes I agree, Come on and race forcast by the hour shows we should get the race in sat., I'm working today and I'll be there by 8pm tonite. I'll keep you posted on current weather and updates. For those that are there early I'll collect cash and get tech card filled out also I will try to run my car to help count. Well weather is not helping this morning,They pulled the plug for today and we will run the schedule tomorrow (sunday) same as today. Gates open at 8am JR'S 9am til 12pm then full show and COMBO RACE. I would like to thank those that are here already I've counted 25 cars here last night and at least 15 more not here yet. Latest update, some rain has fallin. Worst yet to come according to radar. I have tech cards, arm bands, Nitroplate and Southland speed stickers at motorhome for those who want to pay early. You must have a Armband and windshield sticker to run Combo.

Well the rain has finally ended and we've called JR dragsters to he lanes in 10 mins. we'll run JR dragsters, Then No Box cars, Box cars, Stock Superstock Combo, Street, then Motorcycle. One poss.Two time runs,Then this run order for the race.I need you if your running this race YOU must have a tech card and armband to run.

Well it was not to be this day. We had to pull the plug. So we had 32 cars show up would have ben a $5000.00 to win, $1750.00 runner-up, $300.00 to semis and $150.00 to the quarterfinals. THANKS TO ALL THE NO PROBLEM CREW for there support of this deal. We will keep you informed on the next scheduled event.

It was cloudy and cold and there was a light mist that would come and go.

Hats off to track manager, Paul Cartwright and NPR crew, they did their best to try to make this race happen. I want to thank Scott Helms for putting this together, and I hope we can try to do this again soon! I hope to see some more support from stock and super stock racers in the area. We can make this work, but your support is needed.
