It's useless to racers for tuning or dialing but important to aircraft as this is how they determine where the ground is, corrected to sea level vs absolute

Yep, I was an aircraft mechanic before autos, but pilots I know don't check their TV for that number, to check their altimeters before take off.

I understand David Barton wrecked today. Was it in the stocker or SS/AH car? Is he ok?

Yes He did... in the dragpak stocker. ( i heard he was ok... not sure)
Car got up really high, came down and tagged wall twice and then spun around.
Car was towed back to the pits with passenger side slick wobbling bad, and two huge smashed panels on front and rear pass side.

Hi Sam, it was so good last night I had a tough time eating today when I got back to work. If I lived closer I would be there 7 days a week. Food is still my first love, the Sport Fury comes in second.

Good morning and welcome to race day here at the 'Grove .It will be a fine one as the Sun is now coming up and shining brite with temps that are in the high 50's and climbing .What more could a racer ask for?

Yesterday even with the windy conditions was super - Stock has their class runs that were exciting for certain , SuperStock had two great qualifing sessions , American Muscle had their fast eliminations and then there was the Hemi shootout that will finish today .Throw in the .90 classes along with the Top deals .......it was action packed all day with not alot of downtime for a change .

I'll sneak around today for some photos .............

MAN-O-MAN......Just look at all them there spectators watching the stock and S/S cars !
Now what does that tell you? Should stockers be allowed Nitro and John forces big mouth? Now I know this is the spectator side of the stands but how many were on the pit side watching that DID NOT come with a racer? Im glad the weather stayed nice for all. This is the best sportsman race all year and not many showed up to watch.

Really? These guys are trying to report on the race and all you can do is make negative comments? Freaking sad.

Im NOT being negative.....I just think its a shame that the typical fan dosent know what a great show this is. Re read what I wrote. If its not John Force flapping his lips or nitro blowing up engines and bodies off of a car no one seems interested. Ive been to almost every Dutch that was ever put on except this one and enjoyed each and everyone. Its just not enough "Crash and Burn" going on for the average spectator. I dont get it. I wish I knew how to get more interested in spectating. Maybe having a naked woman passenger or something would help?

I am here got here bright and early. I can only speak for myself just don't think this race is advertised enough west of reading. Plus some of the problem is on tv s/ss isn't given any quality time. Spectators show up when they are educated and interested. I love you class guys and will support you as longs god allows me. From my walk through the pits seems like more people cars than last year. Not liking the 1/8 th mile racing though.
