Well its raining bigtime at Gainesville wind gust are at 28mph and we was told there is a meeting in the tower to figure out our future of this event. Not looking good for today at all. I'll post when i know more.

Really? I guess it's better than a postponement but that kinda sucks. Guess there's no more complaining about IHRA points races being 1/8 mile.

I`d love the chance to run 1/8th mile! Loading up would be a waste of time and money to just give up like that.

Hardly a fair comparison, but our last bracket event came with the main timing system dying early Saturday morning. The only option after proving it couldn't be repaired was a port-a-tree setup good for 1/8 mile only. My only complaint was we have a 1/2 mile shutdown and no early pull outs so the program was a little pokey. It may have messed with a few racer's minds, but it was no different to me; launch the car, row the gears, watch my competitor as we approach the finish line........

going into Rd 4, got a tough run this round with Jeff Strickland, doing ok, why trash out our thread with the junk talk. Maybe I need to stop posting for the rest of the trip!

Joe I am with you, I was there. You keep posting I enjoy your postings, it was a tough situation and I think it was good that they tried to complete the race. Joe, by the way what happened to strickland in the 2nd rd? He shut down at the finish line and way towed off?

well we lost in Rd 4 to Jeff, he got the light and ran dead on for the win, I dialed Rich a 6.07 and he went a 6.069, I'll do better, lol. Anyhow congrat's to Gary Richard for SS win over Jeff Strickland (both subscribers) and Jeff Taylor in the JEGS challenger in Stock over Wild Bill Feist's Ford (Jeff is a subbie also)
We are heading now to Lazy Days RV in Tampa to get some work done on RV and lay at the pole for about a week. I will post pictures i took today of Rd 2 of SS later, to tired right now.

Well I see Nitro did not post today I think the people who were bringing up other stuff besides his posting of what was going on must of made Nitro stop posting of day13 of his trip.Nitro keep on posting you are doing a great job .We would like more pics if you can .Have a good time;)

Day 15, having a rough day, lol RV was taken into service so i found a spot at pool side where i found a plug in and could get on line to finish up stats, only 1 problem, to many distractions, since this is a family site, I'll leave it at that, but sun is out and its warm around Nitro Country, lol

darn i forgot the camera, might be a good thing, lol

:) Well today is day 16 Nitro was looking to find a place to watch his NASCAR boys race.Rich was cleaning the car and i was taking it easy.Nitro said we will be taking a break from posting for a few days.
