you continue to make statements about cars and performance you are CLUELESS about!

Stick to what you know, lying to the naive and misinformed, not what you think you know.

What I know Ed is this: How to put over a 1/2 second with my oval port iron headed, production blocked 10.8 compression engine on the first full pass down the track on your red chevelle, 10.07 to 9.56. What I know Ed is this: How to win two srait Hot street championships (10 inch tire all motor 3350 pounds) and hold both ends of the record as an engine builder/machinist. Now didnt you finish second in points in the local bracket race series? :p

My car isn't a SS/GT car, it's a footbrake launched bracket car who's engine is no comparison in design, intent and cost to a super stock engine but if you insist, my car is quicker than every national record holding super stock car EXCEPT the following... SS/AH (a hemi car), SS/AS, SS/BS, SS/AM, SS/BM, SS/CM(modified cars).

http://www.nhra.net/stats/ss_record.html

Not too shabby from where I sit and it cost a fraction of what these cars cost to build and makes many more passes and turns on more win lights each season.

You put a tenth on Grossi's peanut port (236), Q jet, flattop pistoned, 454 with your 522 inch big block, in negative 2000 feet air, 30.4 baro, nice work, we got a car like yours but its on a 10 inch tire, and of course its a little heavier, but its quite a bit faster, infact it turned the win light on in every race over a two year span except one, of course heads up racing isnt as competitive as bracket racing. LOL

Not quicker than John Armstrongs SS/AA, he's been at least 8.7 if not 8.6.

I'm not the beating my chest about how blinding fast I am, nor how nobody believes how hast I am. You just are clueless about how different combinations MPH versus ET.

You & 1320 can stop all the PMs. I don't care how smart or fast you guys think you are.

FYI, I've run 8.70 in good air, not great air and I've run 5.50 in the 1/8th with a restrictor plate having 1 3/8" holes.

How did something that was a tongue in cheek joke turn into such a personal battle? You guys need to look back at the original posting and take your disagreement someplace else.

By the way I have a street car at home that runs in the 7's on pump gas and street tires and I drive it every day.

Just as funny today as it was when I first saw it.

strange magic is a telcom tech who is wannabe comp racer and garage engine builder from suffern ny who is lucky if he makes 20 passes a season bracket racing his 1600 lb. piperack that didn't see pass one in 2011.

He's another that lurks these internet forums seeking out the naive and misinformed in an attempt to sell parts and services and relieve them of their hard earned money who obviously has a lot of time on his hands.
