Somebody (I have no idea who) sent me a tee shirt that has a sign on the front that reads,
(no typos here) "TO DRAG RACING OR NOT TO DRAG RACING? WHAT A STUPID QUESTION."
Well... made ME laugh... LOL!

Our turbocharged slant six-powered 1964 Valiant has a bumper sticker on back that reads,"This is not your grandmother's slant six!"

in 1967/9 i had a '57 150 which ran J/S. it was the light green color. my partner's last name was steinmeyer. mine, of course is hugunin. so the green car became the S&H Green Stamp car. on the trunk was a large replica of an S&H green stamp and under that was "you have just been stamped out'.
very brash for two young kids out of high school only a few years.

I wish I could afford one, because the '68 Dodge Dart, the '64 Plymouth Savoy, and the '65 Dodge Coronet, are my (if money were no object) chosen cars I'd love to own/race!!! Bob Marshall, Jim Pancake, and Steve Hagberg are amongst racers who'll I'll always root for for those reasons!!!
