We are into round 3 where we have a bye. 2 redlights against us, but would rather be lucky any old day!

I have had some trouble with Photobucket on the pics I took yesterday. I will post them if I can figure out what is wrong.

This morning 1st round there were lots of redlights. Everyone seems to be hooking well today. More later.

Well we are down to 7 cars! I just love racing on Sunday! We are done until after 2 rounds of Pros tomorrow. I will try pics again today. No rumors or controversy going on this weekend, or even gossip!

Pat, we are pitted in the 2nd row on the left if you are coming from staging. We are the 2nd trailer on the left. Dave Connelly is right in front of us in the first row. Come on by!

We have had an enjoyable day with friends here at the track! We went out to lunch to Sonny's Barbq with Gale Pinkston, then out to supper with Jim and Pam Marshall and Gale at Texas Roadhouse. We couldn't find any kind of schedule posted any where here at the track for tomorrow, so I guess we are still on the original schedule to run after 2 rounds of pros.

I didn't take any more pics today, since I still can't get Photobucket to work. Maybe tomorrow??

Always great to be racing Sunday. Good luck, hope the weather clears. If you have a chance, try the fish sandwich combo at ShowMars, about 5.5 miles south on 29 on the left at McCullough Dr. Great malt/milkshakes there also. Difficult to get a rig in and out of there though.

Rumors had it that we would start about 3:30 -4:00 if it didn't rain again. Then it started raining again! It is calling for rain here thru Tuesday, but who knows?? They obviously missed it this morning!

They just announced we will start racing at 4 (45 minutes from now) if no more umbrellas go up. Then race tonight until we are finished! So we should be running maybe by 7-8 tonight.

any wheel/tire combo may be used that does not require alteration to the wheel-wells.min 14 inch wheel .tire 9 X30 max.

They are 17" welds. Unfortunately 15's don't fit with the stock spindles etc. maybe one day I'll convert it to a real race car, lol

Well it has been an exciting evening and very busy! Congrats to Dan on his win! It was just a good old drag race in the finals. We picked up a little more than we thought we would after there was no wind blowing in the final. I am sure Larry will have more to say tomorrow! We are pretty pooped right now. Just had some drinks with Jim and Pam and now we are ready for bed. More tomorrow!

We had a good old drag race. Patsy and I had a lot of fun, now its off to the coast for a little fishing and sight seeing. Next week is the Jegs race, that race is always fun, hope to see y'all there!

Dan said he was going to be in the "Coaching Box" next week at the Jegs race.

Well it is raining again here in Charlotte this morning. Some of the pros have been testing, but I guess that is over now.

I have 1 picture from last night. I forgot I had my camera with me! This was after the decals had been checked off at the end of the track. This is Larry and Mr. Pat C from Tech.

Larry just changed the oil in the generator while we were here and had a place to dump it. We are now on our way to the Carolina Coast to do some fishing. (If it doesn't rain us out!) If I get any good pictures, I will add them on to this thread.
