Re: the passing of TIM HEBERT
I have known Tim for alot of years. One of the nicest people I have ever met. Talked to him alot. Now trust me with this he would cut your throat in a second. I think we raced 6 or 7 times "never" beat him. Not that I am any good but we was at an IHRA race at Pine Valley in Texas and I got lucky to have both cars in stock and super stock finals. Ran stock first and hurried back to the lanes not wanting to hold Tim up. As the man he was he said take your time and I will be ready when you are. Then I took my butt kicking like he dished out all the time. I will miss his smiling face. May God watch over his family and friends. RIP my friend

R.I.P my friend. Thoughts and prayers to Regina, Regan, Rory, and the rest of the Hebert Family. He was so proud of you all. I will remember our Racing trips and talks. He was so relaxed at the races that I had to wake him up before the Final round ,he was sitting in the car, I told him that they would like to run the superstock final now, he said oh,o.k.,and went out and won the final handily. So many good stories. Just a Class act.

Re: the passing of TIM HEBERT
What a weekend went from ****ty track at english town to really bad day Sunday so if you don't know it's been tuff week here without you.Tim was not just a friend he was my best friend. We laugh together. Love together "rory, regan, regina. Also cried together. I always thought I drove better when he was their. Because he was their when my son was born and my daughter also.you will be missed by liza.jt.katie jo. I remember our first win together at dallas in 96 we always talked about him wining that first one and when it happened. And he broke through it seem like he was good for 1-25 a year and that was 1999. Everything you have read about Tim Hebert is so true. A great dad. Great husband. Great brother. And the greatest friend have ever had. He was a true hemi guy never drove anything but a hemi car started in 64 ply then drove 65 car then 68 hemi cuda. Love racing and all the guys and girls that he raced. The last thing he told me Saturday night was how he could not wait till this weekend because his brother would be there and Rory would also make race. Then talked about daughters weeding and how proud he was of future son in law. But if you know Tim Hebert like I know Tim he would want things to get back to normal as soon as possible. He is so proud of mike, al,jo which is Hebert brothers farm he put heart and soul into farm. And boy did he love his baby girl. So I just want him to know that their is a hole in my heart and you wil never be forgotten. I love you brother. And I promise you one thing that I will win that national. Before I quit. And Rory will drive that car alot sooner than later.so I guess they needed a good farmer in heaven and I dam good race car driver. Rip man.joe Teuton.

Re: the passing of TIM HEBERT
Tim was the kind of guy that made you feel like a better person when you were with him. He was the 'real deal.' Like Sammy Pizzolato said, "...he was a true southern gentleman." He was living the good life. He loved his family, his friends, the family business, racing, etc. We always enjoyed hearing about the farm and how the tractors could drive themselves. He was taken from this earth way to soon. You will never be forgotten my friend. Thank you for your friendship.

Joe - I could feel your emotions through that one, buddy. I feel certain that everyone who crossed paths with Tim feels the same way. I feel privileged to have crossed that path, and sure look forward to seeing Rory carry on in the Cuda. |

Re: the passing of TIM HEBERT
Many thanks to Slate Cummins and David Latino who donated the winning tropies from the Div 4 LODRS race to the family of Tim Hebert and the last run had "In loving memory of Tim Hebert" on each cars window. Also RFC had many kind words about and for Tim in the morning service. I'm sure there will be pictures of the event later. From the Hebert family, many thanks to everyone.

Re: the passing of TIM HEBERT
That was a great gesture by Slate and David! On one of the qualifying runs I was in the water box behind Lil Joe, who was in the car that Tim would have been driving, while Rory stood there on the starting line with his hand pointing to the sky as that hemi left with the wheels high in the air! I think Tim was riding with all of us this weekend.

Re: the passing of TIM HEBERT
I'm saddened to hear of Tim's death. He isn't hardly any older than me. Yikes.
I met him at No Problem the only time i've been there and you are all a great close knit group so i'm sure it's tough. My condolences to the family and friends. |
