Forcast looks a little better. If that system goes NE that is near Cuba, that might redirect our winds to N or NE and dry. All the forcast systems have it going into the big bend in Fla.

well my son won at no problem at the last race ,trophy and 100 dollars that mr don garrison put up! so he took his money rented a rv spot on the other side, so my son and i will be there spectating .

Hope to put some faces to some of the names. my son pays attention to the sheets more than i do!:D

As a 30 year D4 racer, it is refreshing to have your enthusiasm on display.

Suggestion: don't hibernate in the tower. Get out in the pits and the staging lanes. Make your self visible. You alone can improve morale by simply being out where the racers are. Good luck, and thanks in advance.

The weather channel says high of 94, "real feel" of 104. Jeanie says last year when I got home I told her "If I ever mention going back down there in the summer, just kick me in the nuts!" Guess it's like a lady having a baby. You forget how miserable it was.

Daren, the weather channel app on my phone shows highs of 90 both days, and 20% chance of rain both days. Cooler than earlier.

Weather underground is usually more accurate on major storms down here, but not saying they are more accurate here

Darrin I was wondering the same thing. they must be looking at the fantasy or disney weather channel.look at the storm that is leaving fla it is covering the gulf.

There you go, Ed! Come on down. The weather is looking decent. Rain chances have decreased and Highs have went down to the upper 80's. I'm about to head that way myself. It is Summer in South Louisiana, and that usually brings an afternoon rain shower, but Its kind of nice sometimes as it cools everything off and makes dialling the car a little more interesting. Looks like we might get all of this in and this 2 day thing could work out.

I made it. Very embarrassing, my stinking belts were two months out of date! Seems like I put new belts in last year. Guess I'm missing last season. LOL
What a dummy. Good ol' Hildago guys sold me a set, not only that but drove me to their shop(s) to get them. These are the coolest people down here!

Ed, I put new belts in my M/SA and when I went to tech, I saw they were 6 months old, Thanks Jegs, Maybe you didn't look at the dates on your new belts, one year I bought new belts at speedway motors in Lincoln, ne. and the dates were 2 years old,. Tom

What my weather station shows right now, it went 9.95 at Tulsa last Sunday with my new Stahl headers and a tune adjustment. Unloaded really bad. Trying to stop that with no weight out in the nose.

I put 103lbs in it, backed the timing up ten degrees, and put the air filter on. Probably should put the Goodyears on too. Maybe this will keep them off my butt.

How about the Idea of a div. race before or after Sportsnationals? Maybe a combo race in between like Vegas has done or South Georgia?

I've never had any problems whatsoever with Summit. I think they are superior in all regards.

I bought belts from Jegs, when I called I told them that I would not accept old belts. They shipped me one month old belts so I returned them. It cost me the handling fee but I then ordered from Summit and they sent me belts that were two months ahead. Always check belts when you receive them and don't accept old belts.
What's going on with Drag Central? They're showing resuls from jun 3-4, 2012 as 4-3 results.

My new belts are punched this month. Think they post dated them before they shipped them.

Forgot how humid it is down here. Dang! LOL
