Too much life keeps getting in the way. Race time just hasn't fit in my schedule. Hopefully next year is better, maybe early spring I can get back to a track. That was the fun part of it for me. Making a few changes and seeing how the car performed. Slow cars are just as much fun as fast cars, if you approach them the right way. It's also fun when you beat somebody with a decent car or show up some kid in his street car and he comes over and wants to see the car that just beat him. |

once upon a time I had a 74 matador coupe with a 304/727....would have made an unusual u/sa car.....too bad a boulder had to go thru the roof.....honest,it did...
no idea if it had potential or not to be competitive.. hope I didn't throw anybody 'under the bus" ;) |

The best thing about U/SA......The guys who race them. Ive met quite few and guys like Ron Ortiz, Billy Nees, and several more dont come any better. Thats why I posted win and runner up money at Mike Beards race. If I can make it I will be there to cheer you guys on. If not...I will mail you a check. May the best person win.
