Yeah, I know how ya'll feel.
I had to come inside tonight from the shop cause it was chilling me when it dropped to about 63 degrees. It made it to 75 on the patio today with a small cooling trend headed my way.

Probably need to set a fire tonight when the house temp drops below 68 though, it's so inconvenient to wear extra clothing and do all this extra work to keep warm, buggar !

Yesterday morning I was taking my daughter and newest granddaughter to the airport and the temp was -38 without the windchill . Thankfully there was no wind.

You remember cold like that up here? LOL

Terry just for your info, I'm gonna try a little SS racing this year.
I'm in the process of buying Bob Bagley's 68 Corvette (x Ken Ramsey car)
Hope to be ready to hit the track by like june or july.

I hear you........I almost froze last night. It was down to 46 degrees outside. Supposed to be back to 75 or more by Wed. and in the mid 80's by Friday and the weekend. No snow here yet so I will just watch it on TV. Bagleys Vette is a nice car. I used to keep it in my shop when Ramsey was racing it. Let us all know how you like S/S racing after you go bankrupt.

You must be using some good blood thinners LOL
I thought your skin was a little thicker. Freezing at 40 LOL

Yea I wanted that car a long time ago but it was out of my reach.
I think SS gonna be fun, I'm not looking to set any records.
So I might not go broke to quickly.

Re: TOO COLD be careful

The ride into work yesterday was fine, but I didnt anticipate a 16 hour shift. We re-fused and changed out transformers all night and up until 7:30 this morning. Went to start the bike and it would barely turn over...not fast enough to get the fuel injection going. 1 degree temp plus windchill probably jelled the oil so thick it would not let the starter spin the motor fast enough. It has a fresh hot battery and has always been on the Tender...powerpack booster and a truck with jumper cables had no effect. I'll have to push it into the building this evening to warm it up I suppose. I know the limit of the bike now anyway.
