I'm sure if other threads were started including others names you would get great responses about them.

Teuton,

I have the utmost respect for you sir, from the way I see it however Bret Kepner to Drag Racing is like Howard Cosell to ABC sports. Bret Kepner's only threads in 2013 and 2014 have been about one person, Holbrook. That would be like if Cosell only spoke about one athlete for a year and a half. I think that would upset the other athletes. Bret has interviewed some of our sports most famous people. He is one of the voices of Drag Racing, that I used to listen to. To me a man of his stature should not only speak about one person.

And as for Chris, Chuck Watson, and Varsity Ford they have two awesome hot rods that they have put together. I have great respect for them.

D'Amore

I respect you as well sir, and I understand your outlook 100%. I guess as people see many different things they might migrate more one way than they used to.

Bret,

There is no doubt Chris's Varsity Ford & Watson CJ's are performing and he is doing well driving. You have made three posts recently about these cars in a five day span. As a person of your stature, maybe you should talk about some of the other Race cars that had great accomplishments in the past couple of races. There was over 400 race cars on the property for the Gators that accomplished some pretty good things. Dave Barton Running 8.70's, Randi Lyn being number 1 qualifier and pulling a Monster Wheel stand, and Anthony Bongiovanni being #1 qualifier in Super Stock and Winning Class...just to name a few. There were a bunch of other Wally's given out that weekend. Gene Jordan won Stock and Brad Zaskowski won Super Stock, these gentleman are the true champions of the Gator Nationals. Maybe you should put in print with some of your spectacular writing about these two racers. It would be nice to hear you write about some other people, your very good at what you do. I've been to 7 of the NMRA/ NMCA/ and ADRL Championship banquets over the past 10 years where you were the MC. You introduced me to come on stage several times and spoke some very kind words about me, which I thank you for. You had to do your homework about each champion introduced on stage. I am sure you're able to do your research about other racers and happenings at NHRA events. Like I said there was 400+ other race cars. Each one of them did something spectacular that weekend.

Jim when was Randi Lyn #1 qualifier?

Wow, how did the fourth one slip by the OP? Might be time to hire a new publicist. :)

She was number one out of all the cars that were subject to the AHFS. I would think you of all people would agree with Jim's statement.

She was definitely number one in my book.

In direct response to Jim D'Amore, there's a very simple reason most of my recent posts in ClassRacer.com have concerned Watson Racing and Chris Holbrook.

Watson Racing is one of my clients. The press releases and public relations materials I create for my clients is distributed more than fifty outlets.

Classracer.com is not a specific destination for my releases. I post them here simply because the members here can appreciate the information more than many of the other sites on which the releases appear. If you feel these posts are inappropriate for this forum, I will gladly cease and desist immediately.

My services are available to any team or sponsor and I have amassed a sizeable clientele over the past four decades.

If you're interested in news of exceptional performances from all categories of drag racing, please visit my FaceBook page on which I post updates of significant runs as they happen. As an example, over the Gatornationals weekend, I sent out notices of Holbrook's Stock and Super Stock runs, Fezell's all-time quickest and fastest manually-shifted Stock runs, David Barton's all-time quickest and fastest naturally-aspirated Stock runs, Jonathan Allegrucci's all-time quickest and fastest V10 Stock runs, Ray Skillman's runs in both Super Stock and Comp and a few dozen others I can't remember off the top of my head.

If nothing else, thanks for noticing.

To Toby Lang, I know when the Classracer.com members have had enough. I know when to quit! LOL!

Why is everything with you about bracket racing? Stock and Super/Stock is still about performance, period. Always has been, and always will be.
Great job, Chris, and your entire team.

So I would love to see how fast the mustang would be if it was also 2705. And it was nothing against Charile I was just stateing why not tip your hat to a great pass instead of saying ( in not so many words)...Oh yea well my car is faster than yours if I weighed 2705.

Lets see Webster's y'all... A variant of you-all. Yea that is funny. Plus it's a southern thing y'all wouldn't understand.

Happy St. Patricks day!

Amen, Joe! Looking forward to seeing y'all.

What the hell is wrong with you?

What does this post have to do with bracket racing?
