Ok weird in stock Alby had a single in the semi could not stage under power was out of gas. So two singles to go into the final with Burton and Kadar. Kadar wins in the final of stock.

Congrats to Jimmy and Tibor. Nice job with some really trying conditions. As for my "timed out," it's really hard to light the second set of stage bulbs, when they won't turn on. After being redlighted, I shut off the car, and asked Mike Gittings, the starter what happened, he radiod the tower and they said I was timed out. I explained that I was more than staged, and that the bulbs did not light. He reset the tree.....and there she was....I was deepstaged....never lighting the stage bulbs. After arriving back at my trailer, Mr.Hymas, a top sportsman racer who was pitted next to us, asked what happened. He preceded to tell us that three top sportsman cars in the right lane redlighted really bad. I'm convinced that there was some kind of electronic glitch, as my father always counts when I stage last. I was redlighted after four seconds.

I see on the Boise qualifying sheet that Alby is driving a 83 Malibu wagon. Did he buy Norm Webbers blue wagon?

Re: Live from Boise Div 6

I went to look at Norms new car and ask him if Cory bought his wagon and he said somebody else Did but Cory is driving it.

Great reporting Jim (and Bob). You're to be commended for sticking around to give updates. Will treat you to a beverage when I'm in the PNW this summer. Saw where the 8 Comp cars entered decided to hold their eliminations at the next Divisional. Assume that was related to the late Sunday start and wind. Every time I hear moans and groans about Class Racing's demise I think about how hard those Comp guys work and their dwindling numbers (particularly in D6 it would seem). Nevertheless a good turnout for Stock and Super Stock.

Sorry for my ignorance but would the evidence of a deep stage not be proof enough for a rerun?

Sean I didn't know that happened to you; Saturday when I was watching Ricky Ruiz in his Nevada Rattler I saw the same thing happen in the right lane. Not sure what lane you were in. He pre staged and just kept rolling and the stage light never came on, they backed him up did the same thing again. They got on the radio, I'm assuming resetting the tree and it worked fine. Sorry Bro!

Re: Live from Boise Div 6

Well finally made it home and unpacked. Thanks to Sean and Cory for telling there side of the mishapes that made this a great race to watch. When I saw Cory in Norms old car I was thinking crap he has been so good in a slower Superstocker now with a slower style stocker he is going to do well. The competition just got tougher. Hopefully next race I will be to busy Racing instead of posting.

Never did hear what happened Sean. Just figured U got timed out. Would have rather had a race.....Maybe there was a problem in the right lane, I just figured my 395 red light in the quarters was my dumb *** fault....I wonder if the cold and wet was playing games with the equipment.....Probably wont see you until WB, unless you go to Fallon...Take Care.....

Jeff.....it was a total breakdown of the equipment involved. I had left, but received a message, that the S/C final had a double red light. How does that happen, if there wasn't a problem somewhere in the equipment. It's one thing to lose in a way out of your control, but when you sit for 71/2 hours between rounds, while the snowmobiles and bracket cars get to run rounds, is a little irritating. If I was going to get the royal hand job....I could have just left after the second round, and been almost home by the time they ran us for the third round. See ya in Woodburn.

I've got a question about one of the cars that ran there...the Parmenter GT/M '55 Chevy.

It's listed as a 265 engine....isn't that a typo...shouldn't that be a traditional SS class...

(orig motor in a '55?) What gives?

. He could have claimed a 1956 engine....or maybe the 265 "taxi" engine.

He could have done a couple things. Claim a 56 1-4bbl engine and run the car heavy in GT/M. That car can not get light enough to get to the top of GT/M. But the best combo would be to claim the 2-4bbl 56 engine. That would put it right in M. At least I hope that is what he did. I would like to see some pictures of his car. I have only seen one from afar. It looks really cool. Robert
