Rockingham is the week after Memorial Day.

Sammy, we're the step children of the division down here. They have to please the majority in Texas & Oklahoma. Montgomery alot closer from here!

Also, Dallas national in October is the same weekend as Reynolds, GA.

I just checked the final Dallas national event qualifying for this year and there was one Division 2 car in Stock and one in Super Stock, so that conflict shouldn't have much effect. Also, the October date eliminates this year's conflict with the Northern SPORTSnationals.

In the past Reynolds has drawn a lot of D4 cars with several Divisional races being decided there, Jacob Pitt last year in Stock comes to mind, not to mention Worner's Championship... Reynolds is the last Divisional East of the Mississippi which always adds some drama (which was sadly lacking from this year's Vegas race). That said, there are always conflicts.

Larry, I was referring more to D4 racers going to the D2 Reynolds race. At the end of the year, this is the latest division race for racers to catch (without going to Vegas).

I forgot to check "the rest of the story." Blame it on old age - yeah, that will work!

Yes sir Cooter! And it will be interesting to see who goes which way. If we weren't such good friends with Billy Meyer...

You are absolutely correct Michael...I should have looked at the calendar before making a post. I was speaking from what I was told at Piedmont this past weekend. In that case I look forward to going to Rockingham if my old hot rod is together! :)

One thing I did see that could become a conflict is the Charlotte (2) National is the same weekend as the Jegs Sportsnats at Columbus (Sept 18th-20th). I know that both are very popular events for D1 drivers along with D2, 3 & 4 cars.

Sorry Bob this D7 schedule doesn't work so well for you, but after several years of it favoring California and Nevada sportsman racers primarily, it's about time the Utah and Arizona racers get a little bit of towing love!

I moved to Phoenix from Denver (nearly 8yrs ago), to get away from having only "1" divisional within 350 miles from home. Now thanks to the 2015 schedule (and our getting Fontana back into fold), I'll have 4 divisionals within 350 miles from my area, and in spite of R.M.R. being 730 miles away from home, their two divisionals for one tow cuts that in half (or 365), so now I and my fellow metro Phoenix area racers, get a chance to enjoy up to "6" divisionals within a net of 365 miles from home....I think this is historic for D7 Az. racers!!!! Moreover, I like the dates too, because they're not that close to each other week/month wise....other than R.M.R., which gets an ok from me because it's at least 5wks prior to the final 'Vegas race, and is 4 months behind the Fontana Div., which will work great for me with my work! I was planning on attending 5 divisionals again next year like I did in '08, but this schedule gives me a chance to attend 6 for the first time ever! The schedule actually favors the Las Vegas area sportsman racers the most, but I'm plenty happy with it too!!!!

WELCOME BACK AUTO CLUB RACEWAY, FONTANA, CA., THANK YOU ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACEWAYS FOR YOUR DOUBLE HEADER, & THANK YOU THE STRIP AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY FOR KEEPING YOUR TWO DIVISIONALS!!!! :)

Re: 2015 Lucas Oil Divisional Schedule

The best thing is that because August is a 5-weekend month in 2015, there's a weekend between Cecil County and Bowling Green that's not normally there, so we were able to schedule the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals this time with only the Brainerd national (and a Div. 6 race in Washington state) as conflicts.

If there are any independent S/SS Combo Series promoters that wish to use the NitroPlate S/SS Combo Warmup at our event as a points-earning race toward your series, we'll be happy to get the race data to you after the event.
