Good morning all, its a little damp out and still cloudy, but the weather is supposed to clear up later. They are drying the track and it looks as if there are almost done. Stock is out first, but not at 9AM. I would think 9:30 would be the call.

Weather numbers are below, with very little barometer, it looks to be a slow day.

As of 8:45 no announcements of anything here at the track. The track driers are running, but it has still been sprinkling just a little. "The Cover of the Rolling Stone" has not played yet either. I actually miss "Ilene"! That always signaled the beginning of the race! But anyway!

We are still on hold with very light rain. If it stopped now it would take an hour or more to dry. Its going to be a along day, or if the rain keeps up a short one.

Is this white 69 the same car as the blue Camaro, or a replacemen? I thought the blue was a great looking paint scheme. The white is clean and simple, but boring to me.

We are gone for the day. 1 run for super stock today. 2 runs today for SC and SG. Stock and super stock get 1 more qualifier in the morning then round 1 tomorrow . Comp, TS, TD no runs today

Random shots of the day. I wish we could be racing now. from about 5:30 until now it has been absolutely beautiful out. Low humidity and temps in the low 70's.

Stock will be out at 8am with our last qualifying. Weather should be nice, looking forward to a fun day of racing.

Rod, I will try to get you a picture of Chuck's car tomorrow. We were inside out of the rain most of the day until we finally got our 1 run. Then by the time we got back from lunch most cars had been put back up for the evening. It finally cleared off and the sun came out for a little while. Tomorrow is supposed to be great with sun and a high of 80!

During Q1 Joe Martens and I found out that are cars will hook in the rain. Sprinkles and the tree came down at the same time, going down the track water was streaking up the windshield.

The weather for this mornings qualifying was better than yesterday. My weather station was showing 5 better. Things are moving along with no issues, Stock should be out after T/D, in less than and hour I would say.

Rod, here is a photo of Chuck's car, it was the best I could do as I was getting ready to run our 2nd qualifier.

We won 1st round and now we are done til tomorrow morning at 8.


I will get some more pics later today. It is another beautiful day. A little warmer than yesterday. It is 75 now and sunny!

Ditto what Patsy said, you could not have a more pleasant day at the races. Mid 70's with a cool breeze. Its me and Larry tomorrow in round 2, so at least one of us will be heading on to the third round.

All the sportsman are done for the day, except Super Comp which will run round 2 around 7:30pm tonight. I have lots more photos, but the internet is kind of slow and will post them later tonight.

A few of the heavy hitters are out in Super Stock, while most of the heavy hitters are still in Stock, It should be fun with some tight racing tomorrow morning.
