What a beautiful day to be racing we should be going up for Q2 anytime. I broke one of my Pete Z bars on this morning's run so my season is starting out a little rough. All fixed now so hopefully I'm through working on stuff this weekend.

It appears 2017 is not my lucky year, after Q2 my oil pressure was down and I have an oil pan full of metal flakes. Loading up and heading home in the morning but we will be back!

Oh they have gone in "beat the rain coming on Sunday mode". New entries will get a shot in the morning and then they plan to run this race to completion tomorrow.

Eliminations start tomorrow, no qualifying. Anyone that comes in tomorrow will get one run before eliminations.

A few more Super Stock photos. I'm going to try to go live on facebook for round one of Super Stock. I'm going to give the top end a shot. I would think Super Stock should be out around 11am.

Everything is on schedule and we will be starting with Super Street at 9. Its in the low 60's with very little humidity. It should be faster for first round than yesterday.

I'm not sure Ken, I will try to find out later. Super Comp is running now, I'm going to go setup for the live stream on facebook for Super Stock which should be up next.
I don't have any info on Stock but we are done with first round. It was a little quicker today. |

Well there were lots of red lights in stock and super stock this morning and we got bit by one! .009 red for us. So we get to watch the rest of the day!

Good afternoon all. Its a cloudy day with rain on the way, but as most of you know we finished the race yesterday. D2 did a great job, hats off to the entire staff, job well done. Congrats to all the winners.
I have been down here since the first week of March, starting in Bradenton. The weather has been great, and know how cold it is back home makes it even better. James, you know what they say, if you love what you do for a living, you will never work a day in your life. When you're having fun you forget about the running around. I will say at the end off the day does catch up with you, but it makes for good sleeping. Here are some random shots I took this weekend. |
