Stock and SS are getting their second qualifying run and then to eliminations. If you are watching D3 TV stay tuned as Stock E1 will be up after SC and SST.

Rain has hit the track again at about 4:45 this afternoon and that is expected to pass the track by about 5:30.

Despite the best plans and execution by the Division III and Summit Motorsports Park staff the schedule is quite a bit behind as of 9 o'clock on Saturday evening. That rain shower in the late afternoon certainly didn't help with the schedule that was jammed packed in an effort to get as much racing done with the strong likelihood of rain on Sunday. Round one of SS probably won't come off until after 10 o'clock this evening. Round two of Stock is still being carried it on the schedule for tonight it's not clear how late they may run.

This is the schedule from earlier today. Note that SS has been pushed until after the alcohol cars run next which will be their first round of eliminations.

Thanks for your efforts here Mike. What a beautiful facility! Never been there, but it looks to me like it has to rank as one of the nicest in the country, makes me yearn for more leisure time to drag race. Sure appreciate what you do!

SS round 1 got bumped off the schedule tonight. TD, TS, and comp are all getting their 2nd qualifiers tonight. The alcohol classes were set after 1 round of qualifying and going into first round tonight as well.

Haven't seen any schedule for Sunday as of 10:45 pm.
I did hear that SS is out at 8am Sun.- nothing other than that - the Div 3 website is well behind posting updates.

Great pics and coverage...... was there several years ago and it's a great track.

Can someone tell me what the combo is that R Rinke is running in the 65 Chevelle? He had F/GTD on the window for a record run and it was listed as a 12 chevelle so I figures he had a 2012 COPO 427 engine. It is qualified and laddered as a GT/F which would make it a production motor. Says 427 on the car. Cool car for sure.
Trying to keep up with all the new classes/combos but it seems to be a loosing battle.

The 65 Chevelle of Richard Rinke is in FGT/D with a 2012 COPO 427. There is a revised final S/S qualifying sheet and the original mistake was caught.

The rain stopped, track is dry and SS R1 is called to the lanes. Radar looks like it's clear till 7:00 tonite. Fire up D3TV.

Just talked to Nitro Joe and it started to sprinkle again . They have called super gas back and forth from the lanes three times. Trying to dry track and have called super/stock and s/gas back to lanes .They say the are going to get it finished . GOOD LUCK

It's 9 PM on Sunday evening and it looks like the last of the rain has passed through. It looks like they will keep going this evening as you can see from this shot from D3TV ----- and the track drying equipment has its lights on.

BREAKING NEWS; another rain cell is on the way and Bill Bader has announced that track drying is becoming difficult and as such racing is done for the night.

Racing will continue at 9:00 am on Monday morning.
