This is an older thread and I may have previously posted this, but Al Corda's '63, Dominick Rinaldi's "It's Dynamite" '64 Max Wedge Plymouth wagons and the Westberg & Westfall '69 "Stormalong" Chevelle wagon are my favorites.
All are legendary D1 racers.

Richard Charbonneau's '67 fairlane wagon 427. Hope y'all don't mind the old school post but saw this car at York in '70 and was impressed.
Believe it was one of those paper combo's that actually never came off the assembly line.

I know the intent of this post was current S/SS, but the wagons have come out of the woodwork.
I worked at Conn. Auto Trans.( see rear side glass) in Bpt, and years before I got there, they did the torque-flite in this wagon. They had a picture of it on the wall.
Does anybody remember this from Ct. Dragway?

Mike,
Would always see this wagon at Dover Drag Strip in Wingdale, NY. running back in the early 70's. Back then they would have 2 separate eliminators for stock and SS. I was running stock back then in my 69 Camaro, but I will bet the likes of Lee Valentine and his Dad, Tom along with Mark Yac competed against "Led Zeppelin ".

I remember seeing it run at Englishtown or Atco back in the day, which also reminds me of Tritak & Morgan's War Wagon another great blast from the past!

Kenny,

This thread went sideways only because we love wagons!

How about doing one for convertibles?

That would be Stan Kopejtka. Has finished in Div 5 top 10 several times in recent past.

Getting back to current wagons, think the Irving's and Meers' two Aspen Wagons belong toward the top of the list based on performance. Recall a few years ago Jon and John dragging their Aspen to Indy to prove it in winning class and the Meers wagon, everyone should hear that thing sing. Honorable mention to Troy's Wagons of Steel Chevelle.

Winningest? Has to be Jody, perennial top 10 car and he must like the visibility out of that wagon because who else can drive the stripe like that (sorry Dan, you're a close second)?
