Apparently getting all sportsman classes down to the final too Sunday night. Only finalists will run Monday, that seems awfully aggressive.

Aren’t they missing Stock R6? There should be 7 rounds, right?

That's what I was thinking. Could be a typo by someone, but should be 7 rounds for 128 cars.

Hey, Ken let us know where you end up getting pitted, since it's been such a cluster@&$% this morning, and I'll head over to get a shirt once you've had time to set up. Thanks again.

The most anticipated race of the year and the N.H.R.A makes Tuesday a nightmare for everybody which in turn makes Wednesday morning a scramble and to top it off only two cars get to race on Monday.

N.H.R.A show some respect!

Its a mess for sure, the guys parking are doing the best they can, they just don't have enough people to park us. In 2017 they were able to park 500 plus car all by 5pm becuase that had more people. I know the rain backed us up, but some sunday and monday parking when it was not raining and this would have not been an issue. I would be glad chip in to pay the extra for the biggest race of the year.

I am parked near the food stand where the nostalgia cars park. Look for Bongiovanni racing, I am park with they them.

No word on how late they will park and how much they will push back tomorrows start time. From what I can see there is probably another 200 rigs to park.

This just in from NHRA......

Sportsman parking will continue until dark. Registration/Credentials will also stay open during this time to accommodate. We are still evaluating the start time for Wednesday and will communicate once established.

They just finish parking, there still about a 100 rigs still waiting to get in. On a another note I noticed there was no tent set up near the tear down barn. I thought maybe they would set it up tomorrow, but there are rigs being park there. I find it very interesting, opinions anyone?

I rolled in about an hour ago and am #558, it looks like there are rigs in the mid 300s still out here. I’d imagine the start time is going to be pushed back significantly or there’s going to be a lot of stockers missing Q1

Larry Hill 08-27-2019 09:33 PM

Re: "Live From" US Nationals Indy 2019

If tech is open Thursday and you haven't had any runs Wednesday do you still get to race for Stock class on Thursday? Stock always had Thursday morning qualifying run prior to class eliminations.

Andrew, I thought they were up to the 400's, that's not good. They did say they would push back the start time.

Good question Larry.

Latest from NHRA....

Due to the extra time required to park everyone we have revised the start of tomorrows activities until 11:00 AM. The new start time will provide ample to park everyone, time to unload and through registration. Parking will begin promptly at 7:00 AM.

The schedule tomorrow will be abbreviated and a revised schedule will be posted on NHRARacer.com when available.

We appreciate your cooperation in advance.
