Why Ken let’s people post on here without their name is a mystery to me. If you can’t use you’re real name you’re comments mean nothing.......and before you say, I’ll say whatever I want with whatever name I want or say that to me in the pits lol.....I’m easy to find at Division 4 races and I WILL say it to you’re face......

Ed Carpenter Car #4244 come find me....,

This guy again. And as usual he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Perhaps he should speak to Linda, the nhra in house lawyer who describes us as member/customers. She says we are no different than members of Sam's Clubs.

Ed Carpenter you appear to have anger issues stemming from you reading opinions that don't align with yours. I suggest you seek professional help immediately. Better yet, turn off your computer.

Oh btw, Ken knows who I am and sees me at every division 1 race.

Bruce Noland what part of the truth and the facts don't you like?

MR DERBY CITY does that make you feel smarter, better, superior?

You have no truth and facts to stand on. The only reason Kenny allows you to come here and make an azz of yourself is because you are click bait. But I think everyone who comes to this site should refuse to respond to your lame comments. This is my last one for you Sparky!

Re: Stacking at St. Louis

it must be true because I read it on a message board. What is true is that you don't speak for Ken and you don't make the rules.

Back to the truth and the facts this thread is but one of numerous started here to complain about everything NHRA. So I'll say again if it's so bad quit, no one will care, least of which the NHRA.

Be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem.

it's no surprise that the country politically is so divided when this is the reaction of grown men participating in the same venue who lose their mind when reading opinions that differ from theirs.

here is an intelligent, thoughtful, discussion , in different topics, among super stock, and stock NHRA participants, about the issues, and current news that effects them...…...and, then along comes Ed bigley, NOT, a super stock, nor a stock racer, and trashes the forum...……...AGAIN...………..and the mods allow this to happen...……….AGAIN...……...so my question is again ……….Why?

Boy, I don't know. Personal injury? Fire that spreads due to close proximity of rigs? Accidents; they shouldn't happen, but they happen.

I understand that stacking is a service that could be provided by the track if they have the space to do so. I understand why NHRA wouldn't want racers inside the gate before they take control of the admittance process.

I've only been to the St Louis track once, but I don't recall a large field that would be conducive to stacking; only a long, narrow road outside the gate. It may not be an area of town where you would want to leave your pride and joy unattended to go eat BBQ. This is more a corporate holding than a mom and pop joint working hard to please the customer.

If other tracks are willing to make accommodations to earn the business of Larry and others, that's a good thing!

So how many S/SS racers will be in St Louis?

voltdr 09-24-2019 12:09 AM

Re: Stacking at St. Louis

All of these stacking rules came about due to local racers, at each event, would come in and park their rigs on the Sunday or Monday before the event. While the stacking schedule may be inconvenient for some, it does make it fair for all. Denver has done it this way for a couple of years now, and it seems to work. Vegas also.

Re: Stacking at St. Louis

Tony, as for St Louis ...they have a newly paved road , 3 or 4 lanes wide, that runs the entire length of the property and that's well over 1/2 mile. also that's not counting the 1/4 mile of single lane the goes to the entrance of the circle track.
I've been the #1 dummy in line there more than once. like last year......

AS every business or non-profit business should know the best business plan is to adhere to their customers desires period. It is not a person or business to decide or dispute any reason why a customer needs are not met regardless of how ridiculous they are Just common Business sense and they should care and know what type of business customers desires are and wants and should always be taken care of and most of the time the issue can be solved in a fashion that actually enhances the business and image to further the bottom line all it takes by the business is common sense and a concern!( sometimes I just repeat my self to make a point lol at me)

[QUOTE=Nmbr1GMfan;598207]Honestly, if this were one complaint about parking, that's exactly what it would be... 1 complaint, however it isn't. Every single one of these NHRA traveling road shows is a parking issue and it just makes sense to roll on to the next race rather than drive home just to turn around and leave,

I wish I had this problem! Lol.

Whatever the rules are we try to follow and abide them, it is NHRA's ball, bat, and glove. And we enjoy playing the game. We will loose the two days of sightseeing that we had planed in St.Louis. Adjusting our schedule to the east coast is unexpected but should be a fun time

Larry,
Illinois is flat broke and cannot afford to loose ANY of your sightseeing dollars.
You need to contact the Governor of IL and the state pension funds about it! :-)

Or you could just accept it and enjoy life;-)
