I interview Erica Enders about the similarities and differences between Pro Stock and Competition Eliminator. Erica gets into detail about some mechanical aspects of the Comp car vs. her Pro Stock car while also admitting her passion still lives for sportsman racing where she still plans to compete in some upcoming races this year. Oh yea, she also loves the Stock and Super Stock categories. Anyone have a car for her to drive?

Who doesn't love a beautiful Plymouth? Not only is Jerry Bennett's purple 340 Duster quite the eye candy, it also flies far under the D/SA 11.55 index in the strict-rules Stock Eliminator category. Jerry has also put the car in the winners circle a few times and goes deep rounds at most of the races he attends.

New podcast tonight at 8pm EST. Kent Hanley, Super Stock Winner and Super Comp Runner-up from the NHRA Southern Nationals joins us! Watch live here.

When your family is behind the well known Ohio based Heads Up Cylinder Heads, you know that car will likely land at the top of the Super Stock qualifying sheet. When Robbie Brewer and his father are not busy turning out high performing class legal heads for customers, they travel around and enjoy the Super Stock category in their 1988 Olds Cutlass. In the GT class they choose to run a late model Camaro's 305ci fuel injected motor and as one would expect, the Heads Up team turns out quick times.

The Warren Racing Engines powered Camaro driven by Steve Foley routinely finds its way into the late rounds at just about every event it hits. The team out of Clinton, North Carolina recently capitalized at the final Lucas Oil Divisional and National Open held at Atlanta Dragway this past weekend, doubling up to take home the Stock Eliminator trophy at both events. Hope to see everyone at Maple Grove this weekend. Contact me for shirts, interviews, etc @ 610-996-8784.

One of the top dogs out of the Warren Racing Engines Family racing team, Jeff continues to build serious powerplants for many current class racers as well as continue to show his own driving skills in Darren Poole Adams' 2015 Camaro. Taking the COPO version and backing it off to the street version Camaro allows Jeff to run AA/SA rather than Factory Stock. On this day there were 3 out of 4 cars in the semi found that were powered by Warren Engines.

The always-fast Canadian transplant, now Kansas native, Rachelle sports the first year of the smog motor 305ci Chevy Malibu. After finding the car in the woods, she enlisted the help of Monty Jones to prep the car in Stock Eliminator trim and has fully equipped it with not only drivetrain performance but an illustrated last name pronunciation on the doors as well!

I was looking at possibly purchasing her Dad's blue Malibu before buying my Duster. It came from the estate of the late Pete Boslovitch up here in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Unfortunately the car was a few grand out of my reach but still a deal for such a locally historic car. Pete started out with it as a stick car and had some success with it before passing on (RIP). Jason Line drove the car for Pete at a past Brainerd national event and one of Pete's cars became one of Jason's first stockers!

The peanut farmer from Georgia is a regular at NHRA D2 Divisional and National Events as well as a regular in the later rounds. Top notch equipment paired with skilled driving and reliable crewman Big Willie Evans puts Jeff in contention every year with his Factory Stock COPO and Factory Stock powered Super Stock Pontiac Sunfire. Watch for Jeff this weekend at the NHRA Menards Nationals in Topeka, KS.

Bobby, between the podcasts and the interviews there is a lot to like about racing. Joe Costello and his "Attention In The Pits" series is also very well done.

Each of these things that I have mentioned make it seem like we are all involved at a better level. Thank You for all you guys do.

The California native wasted no time showing off her driving abilities and scoring the Sonoma NHRA National Event trophy in only her second year of Stock Eliminator competition! Picking up a reliable former Justin Lamb world championship car, the young college student played just a little hooky to compete in the Big GO @ Indy but came out on the losing end of a heads-up first round matchup.

The mustache rocking west coast native consistently terrorizes the competition in some classic clean big block Camaros. The 2020 top 10 finisher routinely makes a habit of turning on the win lights in both Stock and Super Stock and is already off to a great year in 2021, recently winning 3 divisional events in the last 3 weeks!

One of the highlights of the NHRA US Nationals and the PC Richard & Son Dutch Classic is the Hemi Shootout! 426ci monsters roaring downtrack in a heads-up showdown is what makes class racing spectacular. This Pennsylvania native sports a '68 Hemi Dart with a paintjob that is one for the ages, and possibly the afterlife. Let's take a look shall we?

Being part of the greatest car show on earth does not have to cost a fortune. 18 year old Doug Hoven is having a blast getting his feet wet in Stock Eliminator by piloting a 14 second Billy Nees built Nova that resides way down at the bottom of the class racing alphabet. Anyone looking to get into divisional and national event competition on a tight budget can learn a few things from the "Dime Rocket" specialist! On this day, Doug took this car all the way to the final round with a string of double-0 lights. Look for Doug to turn on some more win lights at Cecil County Dragway this weekend for the D1 LODRS event 10/8 - 10/10.
