Re: Those TRUMP haters and Afghanistan …

I did some research on lithium. Germany has some and there is a mineral belt of it in Arizona. Ya'all ain't gonna believe this. It is absolutely true. It is called the Arizona Pegmatites Deposit. It runs from near Kingman (Eddies66 country) to just south of Phoenix. The deposit/mineral claims were abandoned in 1952 (I think) because it had very little value. I think is was only used for psychic purposes, which could explain Eddie and my problems (I made that part up)
After abandoning the claims, they are all on private land now. Guess who's small ranch sits on the deposit????? Ours.... I tried to download the map but couldn't. Here are some headlines...
Pegmatites near Phoenix, Arizona
Decades ago, Richard Jahns, published a bulletin on pegmatites of the White Picacho District northwest of the Phoenix Basin. The map below shows his 'Arizona Pegmatite Belt'.
KORE Power, Inc. announced today the first lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility wholly owned by a U.S. company will be built in Maricopa County.

Are there lithium deposits in Arizona?
Most of the largest and best known deposits lie within the so-called Arizona pegmatite belt, which is about 250 miles long, and 30 miles wide.

GM just got involved in mining, if you can call it that, lithium out of the Salton sea. They are saying they pull up about 600,000 tons per years which is more than mined globally in a year.

I hope it doesn't have a.meadow jumping mouse on it, if it does the Biden EPA will shut it down. Afghanistan and the commies could care less about that stuff.

This seems like a bunch of wishful BS to me! Even if it could pan out, does anybody here really think that the California EPA will let it happen?
Well, maybe if Hunter is on the BOD.

and as bad as this whole cluster f**k is, it's taking up ALL of the news reports while the Dems are still trying to force their Covid mandates down our throats. The southern border is STILL wide open and who knows who and what is streaming across. The Dems are still pushing their 3.5 trillion budget to fund who-knows-what.
While all eyes are on the shiny ball that used to be Afghanistan. It's all part of the plan to distract us. No administration could be this stupid or uninformed.

— Trump, in a written statement, April 18

“I personally believe that the predictions that the Afghan forces will collapse right away, they are not right. We will help; we are helping them now. We will help them. This is our commitment. … I personally believe that the statements that the forces will disintegrate, and the Talibs will take over in short order are mistaken. The real choices that the Afghans will face is between a long war and negotiated settlement.”

What Trump said yesterday or 6yrs ago makes no difference. The stooge(s) you support are the ones signing the proclamations and decrees. Out to lunch joe was all in as a senator on invading Afghanistan and iraq. This is his s**t show from being to end. PERIOD

Remember when we were energy independent, the border was under control, low gas prices, no inflation, low unemployment, the fighting in the Middle East was under control , ... But all of that was months ago before Biden took over.

117th CONGRESS
1st Session
H. RES. 57

Impeaching Joseph R. Biden, President of the United States, for abuse of power by enabling bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors.

We all know that the Democrat majority in the House will not bring this up for a hearing in committee or the floor. So this is a dead issue......for now!!!! As far as I have read the impeachment, it is accurate with it mostly doing with enabling fraud and Hunter's dealings.

However, this has to be on Biden's mind as 2020 elections near and his recollection of the failed Trump impeachments.

Yes Gary, we can only hope the people in this country will not repeat the sins of the past in the way they treated our Vietnam Vets. I had just graduated from boot camp waiting for my flight back to Phoenix when a lady pointed a finger at me and my Buddy calling us “baby killer”, my quick response to her was, “I haven’t had the opportunity yet”.

Not trying to set you up,Ed! I just wanted to see a broad like that explode when her hyper emotional response to US Marines who fill their uniform proudly could effectively shut her down with those few worlds. One thing that really bothers me is that the idiots from out of the sewer that defamed and disrespected our
Veterans are still free and safe because of all of you. Thank you for your service and your continuing service to our vets today.
P.S. I finished fourth at Irwindale. The latest stats were posted earlier. I had 399 final points. Two were in at 421 points for a tie between 2 and 3, number 1 had 433. always next year.

Greg, I have seen and experienced how quickly the American public turns on our service members. From the signs in Balboa Park after WW II stating “Sailors and Dogs Keep Off the Grass”, to the WWII, Korean and Vietnam War Vets that were told to “get on with your life”. The homeless Vets that are just left behind and looked down as druggies and useless human beings. These useless human beings are taking their lives on the average of 18 per day. I have been in a little bit of a funk lately, 3 of the Marines that were the last to have sacrifice their lives in Afghanistan were from right here in Riverside County. It has been in the news a lot and it just brings up memories of the loss of my two Shipmates in the fall of Saigon. I can only hope that our military will not be put back in a glass case labeled “Break only in Case of an Emergency”. I can only hope that the system can address the mental health issues and transition our Veterans back to a somewhat normal life. A nation that can spend trillions of dollars on war and have 40,000 homeless is beyond me.

P.S. Congrats on your placement, it sure took a long time to get the results and yes next year will be better. I always look forward to our conversations and friendship.

Biden is the president who surrendered to the enemies who attacked us on 9/11. Biden should "stay away" from Ground Zero, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pa., when Americans mark two decades since the attacks that forever changed the nation.

Besides, 9/11 is my birthday.

You all claim extreme patriotism but can't respect your elected officials ( perceived or real). C'mon guys give it a rest cause both sides chirping at each other ain't gonna solve nothing. Nobody wins. Talk racing, a subject we all agree on!

Remember the Prexy that let them into Ground Zero, the Pentagon and Shanksville? Did #45 not broker the release of Taliban prisoners? Did #45 not communicate the decision to pull forces out of Afghanistan?

A little Narcissistic are we? Kinda like your hero #45. Whodafaackcares if it's your birthday. That has no bearing on whether or not #46 attends to these historic places. I'm sure Biden ain't gonna check with you because of your significant date of birth! Oh, Happy Birthday by the way!

It has been a longstanding policy of the United States that we will not negotiate with terrorists and we will not pay ransom money to free hostages. The reasons for this policy are obvious; paying ransoms incentivizes the taking of more hostages. U.S. presidents for decades have recognized this policy and adhered to it - until Trump.

I guess Bo Bergdahl wasn't a "hostage"? He wasn't a military prisoner, he was a deserter.

Under the Geneva Conventions, prisoners who cannot contribute to the war effort because of illness or disability are entitled to be repatriated to their home country.

I have been having so much fun with DMV to get my original plates put back on my hot rod. I had to pay back fees (5 years), have Nevada conduct a title search (they never issued a title), than have the VIN verified. They took my original title and said I would have to wait for two months for CA to reissue a new title in order to let me use the original plates that were on the car when I left CA. The old title has the original plate numbers on it. Then the clerk made the mistake of telling me "welcome back to California". My last comment was "let me speak to your supervisor", for what is worth they got an earful.

Thank you for the kind words. To further clarify the fact that the military takes care of their own: Bo ultimately plead guilty at court-martial to desertion and misbehavior, and was sentenced in Nov. 2017 to a dishonorable discharge, reduction to the grade of private, and forfeiture of $1,000 in salary per month for ten months.
