Looks like Santangelo went back to the AA/SA car again.

Mark, I don't know what's going on. I was watching the entry lists and they kept changing. I guess we got to wait for someone that's there or Q2 to see what's really happening.

Frank you can go to the Live Timing ‘Detailed Results’ and see that car #10 did indeed make a run, they probably just didn’t have his class info entered. As usual Joe was the last car down the track in Q1, for the Q2 I guarantee there will be lots of “ciphering” going on before his run to pick his place on the ladder. With Wann and McClanahan also in AA he’s got to be careful. Interesting to say the least. Joe has to go more rounds than Jerry so would imagine he’ll try to get him first round.

Missing three cars so it makes it hard not knowing whether they are on the grounds

Sorry Frank.
Your no more confused than I am. Looks like Emmons let it all hang out Q2 at 1.055 under and Joe pulled the plug real early at only 92 mph.

No worries Floyd, I'm just breaking them off and yes it can be confusing for two old farts like us.
The smart guys will keep us straight. Not much gets by the Yacster.

According to DRC, Santangelo is qualified 55th in AA/SA '80! Camaro (-.241). Faces fellow D1 Adam Strang first round. Wann #1 AA/SA 9.64 (-1.059) is on the other side of the ladder. McClanahan AA/SA (-.9767) could race Joe in the third or fourth round, same side. Emmons also on the same ladder side, would meet 3rd rd.(?) Another AA/SA G. Krause (-.406) is also a round or two away. Will be worth the price of admission!

Jammin Jerry just showed everyone why this is not ALWAYS bracket Racing. He qualified 2nd and if he advances he will have a rd. 2 bye heading into rd 3 ….. Jammin Jerry brought the PERFORMANCE to Pomona ….

MJ
Jammin Jerry would have a Bye in the second rd if he wins first rd.
Re check the ladder.

I’m happy to have made it this far and to have been relevant to the end. I wish Jerry and Joe the best this point forward. May the best racer win, both are are very worthy and deserving to be champion at the end of this.

Congrats Todd for going as far as you did that in itself is a accomplishment !

For all intents and purposes, yes, but he needs to actually take the tree for R2 doesn't he? Hence my prior post.

Break the beam, go back to the pits and collect your check.

That's what I'm saying. But you gotta get to the beam. Many have failed to do that before, although not in a scenario this huge that I'm aware of.

I looked long and hard at 80 Camaro's nothing comes close to AA/SA (yes I know he was in a 00 Camaro but that is not what the post I referenced said) Sorry tried to add some humor.

You would think you would be nice to me after i helped you out at the original class nationals back in Byron IL.
