After looking at the final qualifying sheet for stock the top 16 qualifiers are from all over the country. New York, Massachusetts, Nevada, Ohio, Illinois, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky. One town has two of the top 16. One might think it would be a big city or the NASCAR influence of Charlotte. But not so it’s the little town of Hickory, Ky. Jerry and I live less than three miles apart. Don’t get me wrong we are not engine folks but we spend our money wisely.

The real speed secret to our success is the great help we receive from all the professionals that help us attain our goal.

Hey guys, I know the reports are coming in slow... I'm back logged with photos and videos. I promise I will get them done ASAP. Pat Glade was DQ's In Super Stock, not sure about anyone else. Here are few shots in tear down. Some cars just got carb and throttle body check, these guys have to pull a cylinder head.

I’ll add to Ken post I was dq for 3cc to big on the intake port volume, the jesel stand bolts where not long enough and left room for cc.

Friday 9/1/23 8:23 am. Missing Stock 1st round. The "fabulous" nhra.tv will not load, it's a JOKE. 3 or 4 windows spooling away. Why not just go to Motor Mania on YouTube and be done with it...probably a whole lot cheaper too.

NHRA.tv working great for me, too bad starting line view camera is often shaky. Hopefully they will make it more stable.

Thanks Julie, it gets a little hectic at times, but I do enjoy it.

Guys this will be my last post until Sunday. Unfortunately I have to hit the road tomorrow. I'm heading to the Micro Strategies race shop in New Jersey. I need to do maintenance on my race car before I head to the Maple Grove race the following week. I have 2 in car camera videos and more photos to edit. Please check back on Sunday.

Well “Eileen “ was late playing this morning! But that’s ok because I didn’t get up till late either! Since we didn’t have to be an Alarm Stock this morning, I slept in! Just listened to Super Stock and our little neighborhood here are not doing well! Mike McMahon is still in in Stock and I think everyone else around us is out! We will be here til Sunday since we are going up to Shipsawane to get our refrigerator fixed on Tuesday. Will try to give updates!
