Good mornings everyone, and yeah its cooler this morning than yesterday morning. Current temp is 49. The weather has been great everyday with temps in the lows 70, perfect racing weather.

Stock is out first at 8:45 and we get 3 today, 2 in the morning and one more after the pros finish up.

WOW !!!!!!! And good morning - the weather here is so good here at Maple Grove I wish I could bubble-pack it and sell some. A bit nippy this AM but both Stock and S/S got their second rounds in with another ( and possibly more ) later on as they are talking about running more rounds today because of possible bad weather rolling in tomorrow .We'll keep you posted .The boss is still in and going to rd 3 so i'll try and help out . Thanks everyone, sorry for the lack of reports, just taking a break to clear my head. We had a 9:30 start with the pros because of the impending weather. Rain is suppose to hit around 2PM. We should get at least round 5 in. Who knows what will happen after that.

They were trying to finish all last night, but the dew started to come in and they pull the plug. Not sure I will have another update until I get home, but I will post if we get rained out.

Its raining, not sure what NHRA's plans are. There is a small window, but its very humid out, it would take some time to dry the track when the rain stops. Rumors are we will be here tomorrow.

Thanks James, Pros were supposed to start at 10AM. Its very humid out with some mist in the air. There might be a chance of rain in the next half hour, but then it should start to clear out. As I type at 10:05 AM Fuel cars are in the lanes and the Nationals Anthem is being sung.

Jack & Ken, thank you for all of the coverage of the "Keystones". Also Ken congrats on your R/U in stock. You said on your roll-in vid you usually don't do well at the Grove,well you turned that around. Keep Micro Strategies on a roll.

"Dumping" it in the lights is a very common practice, which many racers, including me, have done to win rounds. However, if you are so committed to either not taking the stripe, or taking less, that you hit the brakes so hard that the car gets out of shape, that's a bit excessive. That being said, I have yet to win a race at a national or divisional level, so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Geeeezzzzz Ken, beat yourself up a little more. It’s going to happen again. We can’t win every race. I lost 3 final round national events before I got the first win. Yes it hurts but only one other person wouldn’t trade places with you, muppet head!

Ha... congrats man. Another great racer I have no business being in the same picture with. I'm good bud, a man's got to know his limitations. It will be a long time before I find myself in the finals again. Great talking to you at the Grove.

Once you find your way to the finals it doesn't become easier but you have all the steps that got you there imbedded in your mind. It'll come around again. Congrats on the R/U!
